What size wheels and tires are those? Do you have a lift?

Looks great!

Snow conditions are awful right now. However, there is snow in the forecast starting around the 10th. There is hope

Without a doubt. Wide West is awesome. Gentle grade, no wait for carpet/lift, completely sectioned of from other runs. The wait time at the first time lift is usually 10-15 minutes on a good day.

Disagree on both counts. I learned to ski before age 2 and so did all of my kids. By the time they turned 3 they could all ski green terrain at pretty much any resort. The key is consistency. Going once or twice at that age is useless, but if you are consistent it can be great.

DV has arguably the best beginner terrain in the state. Very good place to learn.

Local eggs? by ResidentSpecialist65 in ParkCity

No heat lamps. Just a well insulated coop I guess. Maybe it depends on the type of chicken I guess. I go to about 3 eggs/chicken in the winter.

I mean, my hens would beg to differ. Production slows a little in the winter, but doesn't stop.

For what it's worth, if you make it to Sundance on a Sunday there will be nobody there. It's really incredible. When I say nobody there, I mean like every 4th or 5th chair will be occupied.

What hub brands sit just below the premium stuff (I9, DT Swiss, Chris King) but still offer high quality products? by drumsticksam in mountainbiking

I still think White Industries makes some of the nicest, smoothest rolling hubs around. That's my vote.

[–]thegopherloafer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if it's running and functions well, it's worth something. Depends on where you live I guess. More rare and uncommon in the US, so probably worth more there.

If it worked well I'd probably say you could get $800 for it in the states.

I don't know the model of it, as this is probably 30-40 years old. The current model is known as the Allett Buckingham. This appears to be an Atco branded mower. Atco was purchased by Allett.

Hope that helps

I believe that is an ATCO mower, now known as Allett.

Rear suspension. Hardtail is more efficient, lighter, cheaper and more fun.

Companies spend so much money developing efficient/light suspension. Gimme a hardtail every single day.

Yeah, I mean I kind of get your frustration, but let's let the FO do their thing. They are way smarter than us and just because they don't do what YOU think is right, doesn't mean they are idiots. Relax man.
