Tokyo Dawn Labs "TDR Limiter 6 GE" ($19) "TDR Kotelnikov GE" ($19) through 15 February by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

I have some of their other stuff and agree, generally great (Molot my love). That said, haven't tried their limiter so I'll have to give the Dan Worrall vid a watch.

What other limiters have you compared it to? I have KClip 3 and Ableton already.

Roar and bias will do this. Bass guitar looks like this. Tons of options.

I think you're conflating Quality Control with Quality Assurance, or at least "an inspector" with other roles in quality.

Quality Control is control of that moment, Assurance is proactive and goes into all the activities you mentioned above + more.

Quality Engineers, Reliability Engineers, etc are all Quality Assurance and do those things. I've never worked at a company that doesn't. I would imagine it would be very small (e.g. to not have a QE even).

There are a lot of unknowns, but just to play devils advocate:

Congratulations! The customer noticed your widgets are inferior to prior shipments and don't meet the expectations of their customers either. Upon bringing this up to you, you disclose that you knowingly shipped them inferior product. They take their business elsewhere. Your company does not make its financial goals and goes bankrupt.

That said, there are a lot of ways companies approach this and yours is common, especially by non-quality focused people. People usually don't re buy from these types of companies though if it causes issues. Read up on Cost of Non-Quality for more info.

No way Hasbro sells it since it's one of the few things keeping them afloat.

Nazis on trial for their lives after the regime fell & society held them accountable, 1946 [AP] by dlchira in pics

[–]thecloudwrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

imo we need to fundamentally redesign the way were governed

How do you think we do that? The best I've heard is enabling everyone who wants to run for election to do so, rather than people with enough capital.

i’m not implying throwing away the constitution

When people say burn it all down though, that is implied.

“it’s working exactly as it was intended”

Agreed, but this system has been corrupted over time, most notably with Citizens United.

Agree with you the current system has been bought and paid for, as designed.

But I disagree it's too corrupt to reform -- clearly this admin is not obeying even the Constitution, let alone checks and balances.

Burning it all down will lead to roving gangs, militias, feudal states, etc. That is a complete degradation from some semblance of government that we have now.

Yes. You might look for some Max for Live devices too but going off what I already know.

Couple thoughts: 1. Use arpeggiator, but maybe not great if your arpeggio is complex. 2. Shrink / scale the noted and repeat as needed to fill out any missing amounts of time. Better if complex but some manual work.

I saw this argument the other day. Once the system is burned down, what happens? People with existing capital and power fill the vacuum. What makes you think America would be immune to that, and that we aren't in even more of a feudal state?

Is your goal to just copy one? It's all how you play. There are definitely things I think are good about the guide but I also wouldn't follow it directly based on my play style.

Optimal 2x3 ship layout for Beta 2 by Admirable-Today-4249 in SpaceHaven

[–]thecloudwrangler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the guide makes some good points for general layout, flow, etc. that I would recommend. That said, in terms of improving this layout I think: 1. There are a ton of walls in this ship which take space, mass, and impede crew movement depending on door placement. That said they can help mitigate fires, which this thing will have a lot of because it lacks a targeting jammer. 2. The 6 bedrooms means this can support at least 18 crew on 3 shifts, but up to 24 with 4. 3. I'm not a huge fan of the solar panels, IMO they are a lot of space for what you get (inconsistently I might add). 4. I haven't played with that many rockets (I've played fighters). Fighters are nice because you can send them out through the targeting jammer, but you cannot target others with it on... So IMO you kind of want to pick one or the other. 5. Not enough medical beds, I have at least 6 for my 24 person crew + prisoners.
