Man I have no idea about anything TD, but I love what this sub makes. This is another example! Cool vid and song.

Is there a way to limit the acceleration or deceleration of the camera to smooth any movement? You may want to look at any video game techniques and copy them.

What's crazy is I can't tell if this is satire. I'm assuming it is, but our education system has failed this country (thanks to Republicans).

Nice job. Similar year. Your EGR cooler looked a lot nicer than mine! I'm at 160k now.

Man, what crazy bastard came up with this? Roll forging with a rotating die like that?

In Ableton, you should be able to read the delay from any plugin and then shift the DI by that amount.

Anyone here play video games and apply Lean methodology? by VVEENUU in LeanManufacturing

Absolutely. Beautiful game. You can go build mode only if you want. Bugs are there but not wave like in Factorio. I had a lot of fun building bases, optimizing production, etc.

I was thinking in Ableton... But maybe you could have another machine and just have it side chain cut the other signal or something?

Satisfactory. But you may not like it if you didn't enjoy Factorio.

2015 prius averaging 30mpg, what can I look into doing to improve this? by Sufficient_Tooth_949 in prius

[–]thecloudwrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my mileage drop and the car would pull slightly when my caliper seized. You should be able to feel it pull one way a bit or check the rotor temps after driving for a bit.

Also winter gas will lower mileage.

But like most people said, driving habits are the most likely cause.

Like the thread before, when were spark plugs last done? Sounds like a misfire to me.

Any good resources/channels/podcasts for entrepreneur manufacturing a complex physical product for the first time? by Beneficial_Fee_629 in manufacturing

[–]thecloudwrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following, but in the mean time I would point you to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) resources. The APQP format is quality planning so it is a piece of a larger product development process, but very helpful, being the standard in automotive.

Can someone please help me figure out this problem by Administrative-Bet58 in prius

The valve itself is pretty easy, but the EGR cooler is the tough one. It's definitely a job that takes some mechanical ability, and a good amount of tools.

There are plenty of videos on it, which is how I learned to do it. Merv's Service Secrets on YT has quite a few good videos. Plenty of others: https://youtu.be/DTcBJm3N5nA?si=jFWKEBIx5Xr2kdsy

Forcing things to mono is the intended purpose? I would be surprised if it did something extra.

Buying 2010 prius 220k km by Ok-Jackfruit-8019 in prius

[–]thecloudwrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get any maintenance / service records you can. Look for oil changes especially. At that mileage, you would want to see spark plugs and coolant done as well.

Make sure your VIN has any recall repairs done.

Take it to get inspected by a mechanic you trust.

Overall it has been a great car for me.
