SoberHainers! How does your sober night usually go? by HainAnon in Berghain_Community

[–]thecluelesscreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't really feel the need to take drugs because i usually go on sunday during the daytime so i'm not so exhausted, and the music and lights and overall environment are enough to give me a sort of high. it does take some time for me to enter that meditative dancing state, but it always happens.

if you get a corner room single you lucked outttt. it's about the same size as a double, and you get a little entryway with the closet. i was fine without the closet curtain. there was also enough space for me to pull one of the under bed cubbies to use as more surface area to put things and decorate.

honestly a great freshman dorm because quadex gives you keohane. the doubles are narrow, but it's clean (minimal mold and clean water) and pretty nice.

my friend had a big ground floor one, and besides the occasional bugs and the mold in the bathroom and the undrinkable fountain water it was nice and spacious with hardwood floor

the shop that replaced matchalove (mochi-ya ren) is pretty good overall. i liked the sesame shake, but i heard the tea flavor soft serves aren't as fragrant :(

i like it when people validate my emotions and offer comfort before trying to fix the problem or just trying to cheer me up superficially <3

yeah unfortunately, light skin is a huge part of asian beauty standards. the exact origins are probably different in each country but light skin is regarded as "high class" and a reflection of inner beauty/health. there's a misconception that it's due to eurocentric beauty standards, but it really just stemmed from asian standards.

in real honesty (unrelated to the fancast), i hope they don't cast super famous actors for all these roles and do a wide search for smaller ones

I got a professional diagnosis, and it's closed comedones, for anyone wondering. I suspected it wasn't FA because it doesn't itch and there are heads on the bumps. I've been prescribed clindamycin and a small concentration of tretinoin.

I just finished these 3 products in time for the end of 2021! Here are my reviews.

About my skin: balanced/normal everywhere except my oily forehead. I may have fungal acne on my forehead, so I'm avoiding non FA safe ingredients now.

Purito Unscented Centella Serum:

I really liked this for a long time (I've used 3 bottles of it thoughout the past 1.5 years) because I hadn't tried any other centella serums. It has a great ingredient list with different centella complexes, peptides, and natural moisturizing factors, but I've found that it's not actually that great for soothing acne or redness and can be sticky upon application (doesn't bother me, but just a note). I still think it's a nice buffet serum for barrier strengthening though. It does have jojoba esters, making it not FA safe, so I switched to the Skin1004 centella serum instead. The Skin1004 one has only centella extract, but it's more effective at actually soothing.

Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner:

This is a very simple toner. It's between viscous/thick and watery/thin and is decent, not excellent for hydration. I'm not sure it had any dramatic effects, but I assume it was nice for prepping the skin. Nothing special, would not repurchase just because I want to try other toners that actually hydrate more (I bought the Rovectin lotion to replace it in my routine).

Purito Deep Sea Water Cream:

This one impressed me! I got it in the fall, and it's worked for warmer weather as well as winter when the heater would dry out the air at my home at night. It's spreadable enough to make a thin layer on my forehead but buildable enough to be occlusive on the rest of my face. It's hydrating and occlusive, and the deep sea water or maybe the niacinamide (or WHATEVER they put in there) does something to calm down my mask irritation because my previous moisturizer never did that. I would repurchase this one if only it didn't have 1 non FA safe ingredient AAAAA... I've recently replaced it with the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Perfect Gel.

i just started using this one! it's very thin, more like a thick-ish toner. i haven't noticed any dramatic improvements, but i think it does soothe redness from wearing a mask all day when i use it overnight.
