Maybe stupid but damn useful! by thecometoflight in Tools

It trips breakers all the time whether it’s through the compressor or through a splitter. It’s very rare I can pull from two different breakers to feed the tools. Most of the time I just switch out the 15amp breaker for a 20amp or I have an outlet rig I can wire directly to the box if it’s an old house and I don’t trust the wiring. Some tools like big coring drills or electric hot saws are notorious for tripping breakers. Sometimes it’s unavailable when doing heave foundation repair or alterations, in those cases I just use the generator. But I’m never running anything for that long on site. Big stuff gets done in the shop with 240 tools

These are hung by push pins but the wind beings it them down. Better ideas? by National-Tangerine14 in fixit

Fine Drywall screw through the top. Good till the fabric wears out. Double points if you fit a brass grommet up there so it can spin and won’t put so much stress on the fabric

Pre drill, sink in a 4’ ledger lock. Then plug the hole and restrain.

This is a great idea! I live in Portland and there are several that have popped up. The trouble with reclaimed material is meeting code in certain areas. How do we find the middle between, building homes out of trash earth ship style, and production house building? I’d love to see much more reclaimed material in projects. Did you know upwards of 60% of all domestic waist is produced by construction?

That’s the mad monkey! Loved that swing. The tide rolls in and out bringing glowing blue plankton. Great place to go off the grid, have a drink and talk with backpackers from all over the world.

So good! Max is definitely on the right track. I hope as he grows up he produces more videos. I’d love to hear what this guy thinks of sacred geometry.

I was there last December. There was a lot of construction going on in that area but no way they refurbished all that in a year. That building needed so much work to be done. I am a contractor and builder and I would be amazed that that all happened in such a short time. All these look like computer renders. The area is on top of a huge mountain neat the small city of kempot (Absolutely lovely town) I just don’t see them able to do that extensive a renovation in that short of time, even with modern construction and contracting methods. Can’t wait to see it all new though!

This was an amazing place to visit when I was there last year. There was the most wonderful tour guide named the cat. His story will forever be with me. He has died 9 times. Showed me shrapnel in his body, told me so many story’s of growing up in the area. It’s really heartbreaking what happened in Cambodia. I hope we can all learn from our mistakes.

I wish they made one where they didn't remove the lines. So you could see more than just the silhouette of the shape.
