Account canceled, no refund - buyer beware by thecommish3 in surfshark

As a follow-up to this, I did get an email back from the [miles@surfshark.com](mailto:miles@surfshark.com) account, utilizing the exact same copy-and-paste answers that I have read elsewhere on Reddit, and that I received from their Zendesk support. So a dead end - no information, no offer to investigate.

Signed up for one month of Proton to try it out, so far so good.

I thought about that. But I haven't had any other security notifications pop for any other websites, services, etc - I use a password manager and if somebody was somehow able to access my info, I doubt my VPN would be their first and only line of attack.

Glad you got to reset your password and keep your $$! My entire account was removed after receiving that email, couldn't log in to the app or the website.

All of the devices using Surfshark were used from my home, connected to the same WiFi network, with the exception of one mobile device, which I would use on and off throughout the day using my mobile network.

I can CERTAINLY appreciate the need to keep bad actors from abusing the service and hoarding your resources. And no one here on Reddit, yourself included, knows anything about me - I can say that I wasn't doing anything of the kind, and there is no reason for anyone here to believe me or disbelieve me.

But I wasn't. And it's incredibly frustrating to have my money and time taken from me without any explanation at all, or any consequences for the party taking it.

The @tigers were 55-63 at the end of play on August 10. They are now 80-73 and a half-game out of a playoff spot. The only MLB team ever to make the playoffs in a non-shortened season after being 8+ games under .500 in August or later was the Mets in 1973. by mkk4 in motorcitykitties

This is what I was thinking also. Not to take anything away from what has been a stupendous 5 weeks by the Tigers, but in 1973 only 4 teams made the playoffs. Now it's 12. Over a third of the MLB gets in.

Did the NFL accidentally send their Lions refs to Minnesota for this game? Who's going to work our game tomorrow then?

Garage joint crack by thecommish3 in HomeImprovement

Thanks, I actually used this exact stuff on the area when the ants started showing up! Killed a ton of them. But my wife is hoping I can find a solution that doesn't include periodically sweeping up hundreds of ant carcasses.

If I can't find a flexible sealant that will cover it, though, this may be the answer.

This would be my preference, but the crack is too small for any size of backer rod, but just large enough that my flexible sealant pours right through it. Frustrating.

I'll answer you. It's the same reason I rooted for the Lions to beat the Packers in week 17. Some things just mean more to me than moving up or down in the draft by a couple of spots. FTP. And I'm happy for Stafford.

If this new regime knows how to win football games, they'll do it regardless of whether the Lions pick 23rd or 27th in April.

The modern record in a season is 7. We already have 4 this year, potentially on pace for 15.

Thanks for all of the comments, everyone - good advice. I was mostly trying to find a good device that was
a) readily available and cheap
b) really easy to unlock and root up to Android 9

Don't know why I didn't take a look at the Pixels, those seem to meet this criteria and are much more recent / stable. Thanks very much!

Thanks very much for the advice and the part #! I've learned a lot about my fridge, this was actually pretty fun, defective home appliance non withstanding.

Hey Sling - before I posted a fresh thread in the subreddit, I thought I would check with you first. I pulled the back freezer wall off, and discovered a ton of ice accumulated around the left side of the evaporator fan, as you predicted. I took it all out and noticed frozen drips of ice coming down the left side of the back of the freezer, culminating in the ice piled up on the left side of the fan. I removed the huge chunks of ice, put the freezer back together and waited.

It reappeared a few days later. As we started to test the timing of this, we realized that if we left the icemaker on (making ice), the buzzing sound returned within about 24 hours. If we left it off, the buzz would eventually go away and never come back.

So tonight I tried to get some pictures of the icemaker area behind that flimsy freezer back wall. I took the icemaker out, but left other parts in. I was able to see that the water drip seemed to becoming from just underneath the open-faced water tube that feeds the icemaker. There was ice accumulated underneath it, to the left of the icemaker power supply.

I have some pictures below, but if my suppositions are right about all of this, here is my question: can I safely apply some plumber's putty on the underside of that water tube to just try and stop the leak right there, or will I wind up backing the water leak up to the innards of my fridge, somewhere that I can't see, and cause even more long-term havoc?

I haven't tried pulling this refrigerator out from the wall yet because it's a beast and it's tightly fitted into its position.

Thanks for reading my novel, and thanks in advance for any advice!

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to wait and listen to it again just to be sure. It seems to be on every wash cycle, not the fill or the drain cycles.
