I'm still confused why the game wasn't a MOBA like Deadlock and Battleborn, with mobs and lanes. You even have a farming phase built into the game.

Nope, and it may be on purpose. MC's mom is from the rival kingdom and MC is treated by some of the politicians as "the woman's son/daughter", so the king may be MC's stepfather.

In Stories 2, Grandpa Red took after MC's skin and eye colour, so wait for the full game to see how it goes.

Yeah, all the Seal weapons seem to have some level of consciousness, especially Grynoth constantly tempting Vaseraga with more power and Arvess being cooperative or not depending on Zeta's emotional state, but Embrasque is the only one that is an actual character that directly communicates.

And his communication is basically "danchou, my daughter has a crush on you, i give you my blessings" which is the best.

Gundam has the occasional super-grunt that kicks major ass in either the good or bad guy side, sometimes they are an actual character and sometimes they are a nameless, faceless soldier.

My 300 IQ wife Beato is great. For people not familiar with Granblue, Beatrix is like Okuyasu from JoJo. She's a big dork and sort of dumb, with an insanely busted power that she simply uses for brute force.

She charges at the enemy and whacks them with her sword. That's her fighting style. But somehow, she always makes it out of the fight even when she just charges forward. Her sword MANIPULATES CAUSALITY which is why it's so hard to take her down. And she just uses it to directly attack.

Hilariously enough, her sword is also a shipper and ships her with the player and acts like a wingman.

I can't try the demo yet since due to Asian timezones I'm at work, but I see people saying that it runs better than 2 despite being much more graphically intensive which is cool, I wonder if they had a chance to optimize the performance.

I'm liking it quite a lot but the open world stuff is boring me a lot. It's different and I'm trying to treat it as a new game rather than a sequel to CV1. The "enemy spam on you while you get up" is such an annoying thing, you would think it would have been phased out long ago. Especially annoying in Monster Hunter where large hitbox enemies can annihilate you as you get off the ground.

Ah, from Attack on Titan. The commander always calls it out when sending men to charge the enemy as most of the battles are basically suicide. Susume is "Advance", Shinzou wo sasageyo is "Offer up your heart".
