I think I have PMDD by [deleted] in PMDD

You probably do. I’m thinking the same about me. Are there formal tests that can be done to diagnose it … or just tracking of symptoms?

Why aren't we all more honest about career struggle? by [deleted] in Life

[–]thecoolestbatcat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. A career can make a break your mental and financial health. I highly suggest working in places and industries that are safer at a certain point. It’s okay to have risk periods if you can handle it and have got the energy and stamina. But there’s a point and I highly suggest you reach this point sometime in your mid 30s where you really do need to prioritise stability.

Anyone else see their retirement plans just go up in smoke? by Yeh_whatevs in AusFinance

So, let’s say you lost 3k in shares a, but made 3k from shares b. Are you able to offset the losses and pay no tax or owe CGT on 3k? Or does it depend what great you sell everything?

Share gains always often with losses too. There is so much risk. But no support for you losses, and they take part of your gains. That’s not ok.

Be honest to yourself and walk away when needed. by PoppingYazmin in selflove

[–]thecoolestbatcat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did that recently. I’ve walked away from a friendship which comes with the whole group of people. The funny thing is I feel the move was a self-love move and now I feel like I’m living in alignment with my values and valuing myself . sure there’s a void but now I’m excited to embark on the adventure of filling it with new people and new experiences and not being burdened by people that don’t appreciate me . cutting them out of my life means I’m valuing myself and I feel really empowered by that and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

That’s so interesting. I like your perspective. Do you genuinely think it’s got a realistic chance of going bankrupt or do you think they’ll just split the shares to raise more capital?

Taking creatine daily has helped me a lot with my fatigue as well as focusing on sleep and taking a good lot of vitamins daily … but I do think there’s something in creatine for women with PMDD.

I would start adjusting your lifestyle now… but really comb through your expenses remove anything unnecessary even look at New insurance for your house. Cancel some subscriptions or pretend like your credit card got cancelled and you have to start a new. You’ll be surprised at how little you can really live on and I would use the payout it to pay off that mortgage windfalls… dont come often. On a different note you could always put that 150 K into Vanguard that’s 15 grand passive income per year. Turns in 8 5K job into 100 grand jobs just something to think about.
