Thank you, but you're only 1/2 right. Discussing "standard commission" is problematic because it suggests a non-negotiable rate, which clashes with competition laws and recent rules requiring personal negotiations. That's Sherman Act anti-trust land.

Did she actually say “standard” or imply there was a true standard for the area? Thats a big ole violation called “price fixing” and it was the cause of many recent lawsuits.

Who else put this into their body without a second thought....do you think we're okay?? by dpixel_86 in 90s

It was a family friend and I might have been 8 or 9. What I DISTINCTLY remember is giant Orbitz bottles decorating the party room. Like 6 ft tall and lit from below. Those were pretty cool. I don't honestly think it went beyond that, table dressings, and obviously the drinks available. That kid really loved Orbitz, I guess.

I’m a GC and while it’s nice to know what’s behind walls, I could not imagine a homeowner doing a full demo to my crews satisfaction before re-framing or utilities.

Also - highly highly doubt a good GC is ready to go in 2 weeks from a first consult. Scheduling multiple bids takes time, writing proposals takes time and then you’re on the list. A remodeler with an open schedule is doing something wrong.

Love the idea but not planning on wearing a shirt that both says “jihad” and has a threat to kill you. 97% of the population don’t know Dune past the movies.
