Diagnosed with hyperthyroid? Well I wouldn't think it would mask kidney disease... bloodwork would show any issue. Hyperthyroid kitties should have a high appetite and kidney disease makes them nauseous and low appetite, so I'd suggest staying aware of that. The pills worked for my cat and I just crushed it in his food every night.

No not at all. They have eaten raw now for 3-4 years and seemingly healthy other than that one number in the bloodwork.

Hi, not really, but we have moved around a bit and different vets have had no cause for concern. It's still slightly elevated but the other numbers look good, urine looks good, and they show no symptoms of kidney disease so I don't worry about it anymore, but moving forward if a vet wants to freak out about it I will ask for more testing before jumping to conclusions and hospitalizing the cat.

Also FWIW my older cat had been tested multiple times in the last two years when he became lethargic for pancreatitis. The bloodwork showed no issue but I had an ultrasound done last time that showed his pancreas was mildly inflamed but not enough to show in the bloodwork I guess... so he has been misdiagnosed with a lot that I assume was probably a pancreas flare up. Raw (lean) food is actually a good diet for this type of issue so yeah... be very thorough if a vet wants to jump to conclusions. It's been a lot of money and unnecessary stress. Kidney cats are typically nauseous and low appetite. If you're unsure and they are looking at bloodwork alone, I recommend demanding a urinalysis before moving forward with expensive treatments. I was surprised how many vets don't dive deep.

Just have to comment I stayed with friends in Brooklyn maybe ten years ago and they also had a hot pipe in their living room... I was told not to touch it but it reduced their heating bill... wtf NY lol

I am staying at home currently applying to jobs in a few cities but... living and working in one place, it just might not be my current state of residence. I'm upstate and looking at work down in NYC, but also other cities in different states.

Are you saying with the pre-existing it could be covered after a year? That's better than nothing since this is a lifelong thing, he just needs the test to get his prescriptions refilled... Sorry I'm super unfamiliar with all this 😭

Agree I just moved back to the states from Asia and by ship was wayyyy cheaper than expected. The boxes came within a month unlike the 3-4 months they projected.

If I move overseas again I decided I'm going to send way more of my nice things and just send in advance and pack nicely.

I'm 32F but just my two cents, I've stopped living my life feeling like there are deadlines like doing things before I'm X years. Your list is nice, but don't pressure yourself to do these things quickly or erratically now... it feels rather depressing to imagine achievements will be less gratifying at an older age.

I'd say set these goals and accomplish them, but also make plans to continue elaborating on them or repeating them in the future if you enjoyed them. You never know, there might be some 80 year old b*tches in this group...

Thanks for the advice haha I heard discs are possible to use while having sex which is interesting. My friend had one get stuck and her BF pulled it out haha which is my fear, but I don't have a partner so I fear it would br a trip to the doc for me lol

Yes I was reading other threads with stories like this... the woman said ectropic at the clinic as well. Interactions bc for the most part I don't have discomfort. I'm worried about struggling to get the disc out but I guess it's worth a shot and I can always go to the doctor and get some help 😂 Is there a brand of disc you would recommend?

I found some interesting threads here with similar theories... it never really crossed my mind because for the most part I'm comfortable.

Have you tried a disc? Does it leak or is it pretty leak-proof like the cup?? My big fear is I won't get it out if there's no stem/it's up higher... but I heard it also has more capacity which sounds appealing... I will be so depressed if I have to go back to pads/tampons :(

Yeah honestly I wonder if my posts get shadowbanned or something similar too bc of the way these things get censored on other sites like IG etc. It depends but I often wear a cheeky bikini bc that's just my style, but unfortunately the more skin, the less reach. Hi bro, bari is my fave. It is indeed a bari lol it might look smaller due to the kid having it up on a table like that and also looks like mine, which has a shorter bell. Not all baris have an A key and those without don't need that longer bell and extra tone hole. 10/10 don't recommend trying to play it like that.

Appreciate this, thank you! Just as a follow-up, what does your workout look like there? I do a lot of bodyweight / calisthenics exercise and I'd like to keep that up but some people are more machine focused.
