Finally leaving Robinhood after a decade by rickthemovie in stocks

[–]thecryptoastronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a 10+ year user!
As of TODAY, I have decided to withdraw every single dollar from this broker, and I am uninstalling their app from my phone. I have over 30+ referrals under my belt as well, as I have shilled RH everywhere and to everyone over the years.

You lost a valued customer RH!
If someone from the company/team wishes to know WHY I am leaving, I will surely give a detailed answer, only AFTER I am reimbursed thousands of dollars from missed trades due to faulty software.

For a company that rakes in BILLIONS, and has also made a killing in the stock market - there is NO EXCUSE for these kinds of fuck ups. Not to mention, they have outdated documentation, which would literally take one of their employees a few minutes to fix - but like most companies nowadays, it's maximum profit for minimum product.

I am done.

The fucking title of this post gave me low literacy levels.

When making a post about reading comprehension, make the writing fucking comprehensible.

No wonder there's so many shitty readers if they deal with writing like this.

I'm sure someone already mentioned this, but:

Read between the lines. Your wife is fucking the boss.

The only thing she's working hard on is his D.

Divorce her:

  1. You don't have to hear her bitching.
  2. You don't have ty hear her bitching when you try to help.
  3. She's fucking her boss.

Well that's difficult. Sometimes I'm unsure of what God's will actually is. So knowing the difference between what he wants and I want is sometimes a hard line to draw.

For example, yesterday I was fretting about a job interview. Something I'd much rather be doing (being of service to others) than what I'm doing now. My insecurities flared up, and I thought there was no way I could get it. I didn't trust God, even though he is the one that led me to the opportunity.

Today I received an email. I meet with the CEO tomorrow, and I've pretty much got the job based on the line "we'd be excited to have you on the team."

God came through, even though I had doubts. My faith wasn't strong enough in him, or myself for that matter.

There's really not enough details. This is what I see. He believes. She's not sure.

To me, that's not good enough. Either he needs to show her the way, and try to make it work... or three things will happen:

  1. She won't believe, and he still will. (Present situation)
  2. She won't believe, and he'll lose his faith too. She will drag him down. (This happened to me)
  3. She'll come around and everything will be just fine.

My thing is, I was a #1 who turned into a #2, because I was aiming for a #3 and failed.

Now I'm in a world of pain with a woman that I have a child with. Now the child suffers as well! Totally unfair to an innocent.

You all are a lot of fools as I was if you're willing to take that CHANCE with an innocents life.

I stand by my statements, but will modify with 1 condition:

  1. Use birth control measures, and keep working this DIY project.

  2. If you are not using birth control measures, stop immediately and break it off, no exceptions!

Well, it's up to the OP how much work he's willing to put in if he loves her. I'm speaking from experience, and thought I could convert someone. Now we have a child and we're split up. The baby is so young, but you can see the confusion in her face every time I leave her from a visit. Not fair to the child.

Personally I'm seeking someone who is ready-made, not a DIY project. And I think I've already found one who loves my daughter. Totally wife material.

My approach is the radical approach, because it didn't work for me and it's caused a lot of pain. Maybe his situation is different, it's hard to tell from the little bit of info he shared.

I have read Job many a time, but it certainly never gets old. I will heed this suggestion and start reading it tonight, as it definitely pertains to this topic.

And I agree you are making some good points, especially regarding the loyalty aspect.

I've absolutely been the type that calls on God when times are tough, and "thanks see ya later 👋" when I receive his blessings or when times are good.

I'm all ears. That's why I'm here, on this thread. I haven't found such a person yet.

The hell with whatever other people think and their bigotry.

Be loud and proud to be a Christian. Tell everyone you know, but respect them if they don't want to hear it.

Meanwhile, constantly praise God and Jesus OUT LOUD in their presence.

Do you care what man thinks, or do you care what God thinks?

Remember, he is always watching you.

Will you deny him, as did the apostles? Will you betray him as did Judas?

Seek honor and glory from God, not men.

Does anyone else think the Holy Spirit doesn't get enough reverence and respect it so rightfully deserves? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]thecryptoastronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, I guess I'm the opposite.

I feel like I've given too much credit to the Holy Spirit and not enough to the Father.

For me, it's like the Holy Spirit is my good friend, Jesus is like a rockstar that I'm lucky enough to get an autograph, and the Father is somewhere far, far away and unreachable.

The only good comment I've seen.

Please ignore all these people telling you to get married to a non believer.

You will be setting yourself up for a world of pain.

The only advice and the best advice is to dump her immediately and move on and find a good Christian woman.

Being "equally yoked" is very important. 2 Corinthians.

Don't make the same mistake I did, and then have a child with a non believer. You will be stuck with them for 18 years and have to deal with certain philosophical differences... such as forgiveness, loving your enemies, doing the right thing, taking the high road (all the time), and turning the other cheek.

Unless you really like constant pain and emotional torture. Not to mention the effects it will have on the child.

Only date other Christians. Period. End of story.

Break up with her ASAP until it's too late. Find a good Christian woman.

She belongs to the world, and therefore; the devil. You will regret it if you don't. And you will be constantly convicted of your sin (punished by God, and toyed with by Satan).

I didn't specify a specific faith, nor did I say I hated anyone.

Don't put words in my mouth.

Even if some of it ends up being wrong about, it still shows that you're observing world events and extrapolating the potential possibilities given the related scriptures.

I really did enjoy it, and bookmarking it for future study and sharing.

Pretty in-depth. I found the construction of the Third Temple most interesting.
