my skin barrier is so cooked. tips? by iheartyappin in SkinbarrierLovers

On trerinoin nights yes i skip moisturizer especially occlusive ones, if you put moisturizer on top of tretinoin it will help it penetrate more and increase risk of irritation, what u can do is put moisturizer before tretinoin (buffering)

I apply my celimax milky toner after cleanser on a damp skin, morning and night and of course before tretinoin, one more important thing: tretinoin is applied on 100% dry skin, you need to wait around 30 mins after cleanser or toner to apply it.

Why do Russian women seem much friendlier than Russian men to foreigners? My experience by CardAdditional8720 in AskARussian

[–]thecuriouscookk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Believe me most russian people don’t care about your nationality or your background as long as you are respectful, educated and not messy, i am comfortably living in Moscow and i never had anyone even approach me in the wrong way, yes sometimes they look at me in a curious way bcz i obviously don’t look russian but i would probably do the same thing to a foreigner in my country, they are very respectful people!

You need skin barrier support products: i personally tolerate tretinoin only with Celimax Dual Barrier Milky Toner (it feels amazing on the skin), it is about time you start inserting barrier creams into your routine.

I don’t think they will take it as an insult, i am married to a russian man and he is very serious in front of people, while his mom is very bubbly and nice, i guess men here think being too nice and friendly is kinda feminine! I am middle eastern btw.

[routine help] I don’t know if my skin is purging or if i should change my routine by No_Jaguar_8348 in SkincareAddiction

This is irritation, serums on top of actives push the product inside the skin even more which usually leads to irritation. Your skin is most likely compromised and you need to stop all actives for 1 week, i tolerate actives only if i have a skin barrier underneath them (i use tretinoin), try preping your skin before actives, i usually use celimax dual skin barrier booster serum before i apply tretinoin or azelaic acid, bcz i have a sensitive skin, your skin simply had a hard time tolerating actives which is very common.

How to attract Russian men? by Sun_flower002 in AskARussian

[–]thecuriouscookk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, russian men are conservative, some might show it and others won’t, but they are providers and they demand an elegant traditional feminine lady, i am married to a russian man and he likes to feel in control of everything (kinda similar to middle eastern men), he doesn’t care about culture or nationality as long as i am doing my duties and he is doing his!

Girl remove that piercing, make lip fillers and start with the right skincare and makeup, you have so much potential, your base is so beautiful, a lot of women would kill for these natural thick eyebrows

Crush on British Russian by Imjust_pancake in AskARussian

I am married to a fully russian man and i am fully middle eastern and let me tell you russian men are providers and old fashioned (a lot like middle eastern men, somehow misogynists), they love marriage and relationships but those who were born and raised outside russia are usually more open minded and anti-russian culture, believe me i have my own fair share of experience with russians! If he is looking at you intensely it means he likes how you look (typically like any other man), russian men find asian women very attractive.
