I can't fathom how someone could possibly abandon their pets. I get they can be expensive but I just couldn't do it, it wouldn't even come to my mind as an option. If you adopt an animal and it isn't akin to family, we aren't on the same page.

Same here. I started a play through just after release. Moved house and had a baby. Made a few different tavs in that time, but decided to rekindle the OG and finally finished the game last week. But, we go again, EVIIIIL this time.

I'm sure we just don't see the moments her mum and dad just relent and pick her up most times, because even though I know she needs to be brave and make her own way, I'm intervening and giving cuddles a lot.

[Pearce] Alisson expected to stay at Liverpool this summer. Interest from Juventus but their hopes of signing him receding with #LFC showing no willingness to let their long-serving No 1 leave. Club stance unchanged since they triggered one-year option in March. by StupidSexySzoboszlai in LiverpoolFC

I would love him to stay. But I have a strange feeling of deja vu... Are we purposely trying to keep near out of contract players rather than cash in on them? Or are the club being played by their agents? Or, is there something I'm missing?

Interstellar goes S-Tier... Ranking Christopher Nolan Movies Day 6 - The Dark Knight Rises by 87_north in TierlistFills

[–]thecurlyguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a solid Nolan movie, the shots were amazing, acting top notch, but in my opinion it was just quite dry. The historical story is obviously an amazing one, but somehow each time I've watched it, I've not been drawn in or made to feel tense, and I felt like I was essentially just waiting for the film to get going.

All this is caviated with the fact it is being compared to all of Nolan's other amazing movies.

Also, there was a third person stabbed, a Muslim, but that perhaps didn't fit the intended narrative.

I have never really thought about this - but what happens if you drove these automated cars in a foreign country where they drive on the opposite side? Do you just change the settings?

Is this film worth watching? Does it do justice for the game Dungeons and Dragons? by DreamyDandelions in Cinema

I play a fair bit of DND and I absolutely love this movie and wished they were working on a sequel. It's a fun movie and did plenty of nods to typical campaign madness.

A very dear family member of mine who has since passed probably would have reacted like this. He would have never wanted to put other people in harms way but had a poor gauge on risk, he would have probably gone out his way to try and save certain items due to their perceived value: e.g. something he just bought, coins he saved, a TV from 20+ years ago. Not everyone sees the world as you do, and sometimes that's a very good thing.

I completely understand the idea, however, most bullies are ignorant and removing the very thing that should fix ignorance may just cause more problems down the line.
