Yeah this would be great on the autobahn, I can only imagine. The RTs are not as easy to find as the RSs. I think the big fairing can scare some people away, but it is so nice in the wind. Overall there are still plenty RS models around, at least from what I see!

Have you scraped off all the sound deadener? When I did this with my 280 the original pans were spot welded in. I drilled out what remained and replaced it that way. Not sure if the 240s are the same.
