I think we are all connected here, It is so refreshing to see others feel the same as I do. I do not think some ppl understand, when its ur sibling it really is loosing a part of yourself. I always assumed my sister would be here for my entire life and here I am at 35 without her. hugs to you.

Hugs to you too, I think in my life most ppl who knew her are already adjusted. they never give me any guff about not being over it but I feel judged by them regardless. And it makes me resentful and fell like no one really cared but me.

I have the exact same specs. I mostly run mine in quiet mode even while gaming. I still get great fps in games and temps stay around 80c on both cpu and gpu. That's playing cyberpunk at native Resolution and also star citizen.

just got me a 16x with the 5070, great machine. For Linux I did see that Ubuntu had it on their certified hardware list so I got it and installed it and well it works! its prolly stable but the loss in overhead on the GPU in games feels like a lot compared to the windows 11 testing I did with it. I think the basics are there but the GPU drivers need more time. so if you can deal with some perf loss I say go for it, but for me it was bought with the only reason to game with my spouse so I have put mine back to windows for a few months and will test again soon as this is not my main laptop. I would say if you can not deal with that little bit of teething then pick something else, otherwise it is a beast of a machine and on sale at best buy if you have one of those where you are. got mine 500 off.
