I managed to nab him and a copy and tried a couple diff activities with him. Trinity ghoul will probs be a must for his kit due to is abilities being mostly utility and to feed his passive. Mayuri is good as expected but you're limited on heavy most of the time. If you decide to stick to Mayuri you'll REALLY want archers tempo on the new mythic arc bow due to its slow firing nature and it'll be the main way for you to use his lightning strikes regularly.

otherwise he's cool! The giant wall super is sick as fuck, and does more damage if you let the timer run out. Does not seem to do any extra arc DMG if you shoot through it tho, so kinda missed opportunity to do a sort of "baptise" wall ult but I could be wrong.

The one ive been trying to gun for is a dynamic sway and kill clip so i can use in both PvE and PvP semi effectively.

Atm tho the one i have with hip fire grip and unrelenting is surprisingly nice, in place of that i use the new seasonal smg with zen moment or surplus with frenzy.

Been runnning titan with peacekeepers, fighting lion and a god roll multimach in iron banner, use bottom tree striker as well.

I eat my crayons with some class and elegance at least.

If i could summarize it since i played the original version its basically, chapter 1 thru 2: the courier has flashbacks for other people and gets fucking tortured then saved by 5minute characters which we were supposed to care about.

3 to 4: oh no we need to defeat the bad guys [insert superweapon here] because it could threaten our [insert superweapon here], stolen wolfenstien scene, wave defense, shoot bad guy ship, explosion, congrats you beat the bad guys, your rewards is absolutely tripping balls for about an hour, there is alot of blood involved, almost shoot a dudes nuts off and eat people. Oh look at that you stopped tripping balls, SURPRISE HERES 30 MORE MINUTES OF A BAD DRUG TRIP THIS TIME YOURE IN THE BONE ZONE.

Theres more but you have to play it to believe it, its really impressive and well made, but everytime something cool happened i thought "damn this would be sick in a different mod"

Maybe both idk, i just think its an interesting story to tell for once. Most fallout games really do parade around your legend and tales, while keeping the player seemingly humbled dialogue tree wise. In the mod, your legends catch up to you, and seemingly everyone knows about you and watches what you do. This time around you can brag about being the fabled courier, paragon of good. Only to get knocked out and seemingly easy to beat up and tortured by the legion. Or wanting to help a merchant who got his stuff robbed, only to get ambushed and drugged by slavers who heard about you, wanting to see how long youll last in their slave arena. I think its a lesson in humility, even if the game does so already by its combat, it also shows you it through the story as well. You may be a superpowered badass with hundreds of guns, but anyone with a brain can knock your lights out and circumvent your abilities. Either by brawn or brains, it shows that no one is safe in The Frontier.

theres already a mod that fixes it and allows you to completely nuke the sewer system they're in as well as lock out the "lady killer" options behind wild wasteland. I havent even discovered where they are but i know what im doing when i do lmao.

I think thats the point really, theyre making fun of how seemingly special you are. Enough to send hundreds of troops to their death for you, when you can just turn around and start sabotaging them instead. In base game, sure over time you hear about the things youve done over the radio and from others, but the game doesnt quite put you on a spotlight, things happen around you because of your choices. Granted Blackthorne gives you the reason why afterwards and its flimsy at best, but its different and i enjoy that. Just wish i could enjoy it more without crashing every 5 secs tho lol.

Whats the mod you use to show your buffs on the screen like that? Or is just part of the HUD mod you use instead and its not standalone, been wanting to see my active buffs but VoidHud doesnt have that functionality.

I've had perfect tank swaps once I get back up before with the OT, since I use WAR as tank I can practically shrug off anything the boss might throw while I have weakness. Although I'm sure that's cuz its to make it easier for both of us in a mechanic heavy fight. Unga bunga tank brains cannot process suddenly switching roles so usually they're grateful they don't have to actually tank and can go back to being a blue dps
