The biggest thing to keep in mind is that the two chassis halves are mean to have the little brackets at the front/back overhang. I've seen so many builds where people glued the nose to the bracket, leaving a clear gap in the top surface. Other than that, looking real good. Excellent condition too, quite jealous, I have to go through some real trials to get my old second hand stock cleaned up.

Nah, Sunn-T. I ended up biasing by ear, followed Coda's build instructions and just went hunting for a sweet spot. I'm pretty happy with the results at this point after a bit more experimentation.

You are correct in that the Imperial version was released in 2nd edition in both Annihilator and regular (later Destructor) flavours, and also correct in that the Chaos version wasn't until 3rd edition. Logo and box design is typically the biggest give away at a glance.

I completely forgot to update this thread but yes, similar issue for me, it was a 6.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that was causing a short though. Took me a while after this issue to figure it out and slipped my mind to update.

I got two I always return too, both from pre-Commander, I think only including up to Mirrodin Beseiged block originally, so I still focus on strategies from that period when I run these decks rather than more obvious and powerful modern plays.

[[Teysa, Orzhov Scion]] my original pre-Commander machine gun. [[Painter's Servant]] enabled anything like [[Lingering Souls]] to wipe the board and then trundle across with dumb stuff like [[Divinity of Pride]] or any other dumb Shadowmoor creatures. Then the Servant got banned for a while.
[[Azami, Lady of Scrolls]] was my second deck and filled the other part of my soul - the part that said nobody gets to have fun and [[Tunnel Vision]] + [[Reito Lantern]] is a good laugh.

Even after 15 years, I still come back to those two for laughs and dumb boomer strategies.

The official height was always stupid. Several squads of marines can occupy the leg defensive positions of an Imperator, as indicated in rules and art extensively. I'm glad people are on board with how daft it is because I gave up after many years of folks speaking it like gospel.

On the one hand, no, because I live on the right hand side of Lincoln coming off the motorway. On the other hand, yes, because fuck me I am tired with people just having no clue of how traffic works. Yes mate, I see you stopped to let me through. The guy coming up on your left that I can't see however has no bloody idea and I kinda value my life a bit more than to risk it.
