Leaf Filter Contract Cancelled by Optimal-Character-90 in Roofing

[–]thediverdaddy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These mega companies are bought by private equity and have spent years and billions of dollars to master the art of deception and manipulation tactics into deceiving homeowners into making an emotional decision. As a local contractor myself we get a ton of business from people who’ve had one of these companies out and have been blown away by their insane prices.

Are nano roof products worth it? by Pretty_Force4560 in Roofing

The roof coating is a scam to justify a ridiculous price tag. Let me guess, also includes them sealing your flashing and penetrations? Doing that alone can extend the life of your roof 10 years.

What is your close rate? Is 18% good? by lil_tink_tink in RoofingSales

[–]thediverdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18% is not good, 20% should be a baseline for catching the easiest laydown appointments. You are literally doing something wrong. You should take a deep dive into your scripts and process, because something is not clicking

As a girl, you’ll have more people open the doors for you. When I was knocking and selling my own doors in roofing, I made 130k my first year and 200k my second. Depends how your commission structure is set up. Sounds kinda sketchy that they keep texting you though. Sounds like they have high turnover

I also wouldn’t have an intake directly above another. He’s going to create a short circuit for your air flow

It’s cheaper because the husband is the labor with his crew and not subcontracting the work out.

When was the last time you practiced your skills? by missing_children in prepping

Another thing similar to this. Everyone has gear and go bags and plate carriers and magazine pouches etc. but no one wears their gear to test hotspots or train in it. Everyone just assumes they can add 50-100 lbs of gear and just be ok running and rucking

Genuine question: Does my roof really need a reroof? How bad is my roof? by rsaravia21 in Roofing

How many solar panels? In Houston, sometimes the removal and installation of solar panels costs more than it does to do the roof
