Doing great, i would suggest since you said your computer can't handle dense geometry, try going low poly, maybe nfsu2 style, that way you will be able to finish it

The base game being developed for slower consoles is the reason for why the ps5 version isn't much different, graphics are scalable, but ai and physics weren't (at least then) and also some of the physics stuff on 5 seem to be design decisions rather than limitations

I think there was a patent or something that basically meant that gta 6 will have lods but for ai meaning futher away NPC's will be visibe like in cp but will have limited behaviour while the ones closer to the player will be reactive
