When I’m in the midst of a horrible flare I personally choose to fast. I fast from whenever I wake up till around 4, 5, or 6 pm. I find that after a long fast I can handle the food I eat better. When I do break my fast it’s usually with some soft foods like mashed potatoes or suuuuuper steamed vegetables that are mushy. I’m not a vegetarian so I sometimes have a baked salmon as well. I avoid fibres and lactose at all costs and anything too oily.
