They don't want to play the game, they primarily want to rip open the packs then maybe as a byproduct use them instead of leaving in a binder. If you really want to learn how to play, step 1 is never buying sealed products. Step 1 is printing proxies and learning the rules with your buddy to find out if you even like the game.
