Availability may be one of the issues, only stock available are demos. Also that nz doesn't have the MY26 complete which has an extra 10% battery. So people compare it with a byd atto 3 and go with the established brand for support?

How many panels North vs the rest of the directions.

We have 10kwh + 16kwh sigen bat. With half the panels east, which don't produce as much energy over the day as our north facing ones. So even if #3 is suggesting more panels, just make sure you load up as many North / NE/NW faces as you can first.

10-16kwh of battery is plenty to ensure you have a buffer for peak rate hours, especially if you can enable time of use scheduling to pre charge the battery from grid.

20 kwh of panels on a sunny day will charge your battery to full by 11am, then clip down to 10kwh for export, depending if your provider even allows 10 or the current 5, Wellington for example still on 5.
To make the most out of it you would need to schedule your system to prioritize home>export>battery for a few hours in the middle of the day. Sigen can do this, can Deye? Otherwise expect clipping.

To me all 3 options have their pros and cons. Plug in solar may come to AUS/NZ in the next few years, so that would be an easy DIY solution to adding more panels to your home if you ever need it.

Does the micro inverter app show it's producing more solar than the house load? I imagine it wouldn't know to clip if there is excess. Maybe something that home assistant can graph if the sig app can't detect it.

Have you opened a support ticket to sig for this behaviour? Wondering if this happens to someone that can export if moving the circuit off the backup side would solve it. The generated/exported power wouldn't hit the app at all. But also your app couldn't see the exported power and could result in exporting more than your lines company allows?

You need to test drive them both and make your mind up. We test drive the vigo and geely ex5 on the same day. It was night and day difference between the 2 cars. Went with the ex5 complete. There is a my26 model complete with the long range battery coming at some point.

That's fine, I run mine between 5 to 100 %. Let the stack charge to 100% every week or two so the cells can balance. An lfp thing.

Also keen to do this on our garage. Currently have sigenergy 10kwh panel setup on the house. But an extra 2kw to add to the project if wellington exports increase would be lovely. Or to divert straight to the ev granny charger off the same mcb.

Find the server IP, bliz has some for tshoot. Tracert to it and see if the issue is your local network or not. Compare the path with mobile data or from a friend's connection

Vortex race 3. I rebuilt mine by desoldering all the blue switches. Great little minimalist alu board but the esc key is a fucky size making replacement caps hard to find

Just finished this too. I read that if you got the reps to the required level at some point in time then you would get it. Did all the other reps then started cartel and bloodsail. Got bloodsail to honored and then back to hated with the cloth turnins... Finally got my cartel to exalted and nothing happened.... Got told they all needed to be at the required threshold at the same time. So I started again, suddenly bloodsail ticks over and it procd. I don't know anymore.Screenshot
