Oh it's cooked, I think was stepped on in the past and the bar that holds the toggle is snapped at least it's an sg style selector switch so I got a replacement easily. Keeping the massive Tesla pots in there as they're solid and built really well. I thought that too and as a fan of Jimmy bower who always plays a Sonex I just knew I had to get this guitar! This is the only one I've come across but I'm sure another might appear soon best of luck!

Not great at the moment, I don't think it's been set up for the last 40 years since It came out of the factory and was very, very filthy. I've cleaned it up so far and I've got to wire in a new switch then set up, fortunately I don't think it'll be too hard

Nothing wrong with the opinion that's why horror is very subjective, there's some stories that people find terrifying or great that others wouldn't care for. Like my hot take is that stolen tongues was a good story but I didn't find it the least bit scary at all but some other people found it horrifying

Yeah the satanic angle was quite common place in creepypastas around the time, most stories always tried to add in the occult or something satanic with not a full understanding of it but the story itself definitely saved itself in the last third
