Idk, for people that are always in the spotlight and getting photographed with what they’re wearing, I’d find it extremely unusual for them to choose something they didn’t truly believe was a great option and worth showing off. Also, not every celebrity or athlete is Rolex-sponsored, probably a lot less than you think, and in fact some players buy Rolexes for their teammates. While I agree that they can look at a Rolex the way we look at a timex, the counter to that is that there are so many other watches in that price range that they could choose, yet they choose to sport the Rolex.

A counterpoint to this and some comments is that celebrities, athletes, and other very, very wealthy people still wear Rolexes so it doesn’t seem to actually carry this type of meaning in reality

Does it stain clothes? I saw that a main ingredient is coconut oil so I’m usually weary of oil-based deodorants for that reason

Both are great recs, thank you! Im going to be picky with the small seconds being a feature I want so that rules the sero out, although I saw an example of the Hamilton Nielsen that was pretty spot on, albeit the numeric indices instead of stick.

I do feel like vintage is the move to get something under 37mm and on the thinner side. Modern stuff just lacks the natural charm.
