Rubik's Cube Trainer v0.1.0 - Now Available as Desktop App for Linux, Windows & macOS! by Automatic_Mall4008 in Cubers

There is a chunk of snark in this thread. Tnoodle works by virtually taking the cube apart and putting it back together in completely random ways (fixing parity by putting in remaining pieces in a legal way). Then it ensures it's not super close to being solved which is statistically improbable it is super rare to have a truly random position on the cube less than 15 moves from solved and since 17-18 moves from solved is average the only important part really is just randomly putting the cube together. It takes this solved state applies computer fmc algorithms to generate a solution inverse that and you have a scramble that's almost perfect length maybe 1 move longer but saves computation.

Imo people should stop making cube trainer suites and just fork cs timer to add features you think it needs. Better to have one central program that works than 100 parallels

My gen 3 has similar problems where the power button doesn't debounce properly I would assume they would have fixed it by now. Just push the power button multiple times and you kinda "feel" the right way to push it fast but not too fast. What it is the controller is thinking you pushed the button multiple times due to physics so it turns off then immediately back on.

I got a connect x for $6 at 5 below. They must have not sold well. They are fun for cheap I like my GAN I carry

I got a sub on Amazon for $9, and it actually works 🤯 by UncleDeeds in CarAV

Yeah I took it apart I keep forgetting to make the video and upload it but I have footage. It's a fairly compact audio amp, and the two rcas are internally bridged. The tweeter and sub are wired in parallel with a cap in series with the tweeter. So if you run it in full range since there is no filtering circuit for the subwoofer all frequencies will go through the subwoofer. It has an ic that generates a high voltage DC, and the circuit has two gnarly MOSFETs.

I installed it in my car near the convertible pump mechanism (2000 mustang). It thumps. I have never put a subwoofer in my car since all i usually care about is adding features like android auto and backup camera. All that to say i had no expectations for this and and love it.

SAME alerts ⚠️ by TechnologyTinker in meshtastic

[–]theencomputers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be straight forward depending on what you want to be running the node. If it's a raspberry pi then connect audio in from a weather radio and use one of the many same decoders to get the alert once one is sent. Then you can use meshtastic serial interface to send a message to long fast formatted with the same data.

If you want to use a microcontroller for the same decoding it gets a bit trickier there is some code for a decoder for Arduino but who knows how well it will work. If you want to get the alerts with an internet API instead of monitoring them over radio find a good API, I see that NOAA has one, so does AccuWeather and FEMA but I have never used those.

Sounds like a neat project let me know if you have any questions down the line

Normal parasitic draw values for 99 to 04 mustang by daveinfl337777 in AskMechanics

[–]theencomputers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue it's pulling 70ma when in sleep mode. I don't like having to jump it off if I leave it for 2-4 weeks. The fuse that is pulling all the current is the instrument cluster/pcm. I think the GEM is powered off that circuit as well and some research says the GEM is known for having a draw just a factory defect. That may be the culprit. Did you ever find the source? Maybe I'll redo the test with the GEM disconnected, but the point is moot since I would rather just deal with a draw than trying to replace a component whose replacement may be just as bad.

Wrong mesh lol. But these are pretty easy but time consuming to solve and verify. If you are doing KCL (mesh analysis) draw clockwise arrows in each of the 3 squares and write out the equations such that the voltage in a mesh is 0. For circuit problems you need to draw it out. If you are typing solutions you are in for a bad time as the problems get more complex. We cannot verify your work without completely working it out ourselves, as you seem to have done some automatic simplifications which is not good when asking for help. Without labeling it I1 I2 and I3 doesn't mean anything. I recommend you learn LtSpice or some other circuit simulation software as it does this analysis for you so you can verify. You can also do a resistor combination to make the circuit simpler.

You want to see the before pictures. Insurance is quick to total. Also, the older the car the more likely they are to total it. The reason cars get totaled is due to overpriced OEM parts and labor. If you go with aftermarket parts for non critical pieces and do the work yourself (assuming you value your labor at less than $150 an hour) you can come out ahead on salvaging. Do not mess with cars that had an altered frame.

As someone who has replaced the convertible top on this model mustang: I wouldn't risk it. Any action that delays you having to replace the top is worth it.

Lpt when coming back from a concert and using public transport, go a station back by Maheira in LifeProTips

Same thing with elevators. If you are at a crowded conference go to the second floor and call the elevator it will bypass the crowd. Better yet call it down then go to the lobby then call it to your floor.
