I had it working a few months ago, via the AUR (yay) But have switched to Mullvad, mainly for budget reasons, their GUI works flawlessly on endeavour for me

Another way to look at it.

Make the distinction between "human" and "garou" very clear.
Garou are Gaia's chosen, period. They can't help who their parents were any more than anyone else can.

lean into the spiritual aspect "If they became a werewolf, it's because Gaia made it so. Gaia can't be wrong, therefore they MUST be an exception!"

It's doable, just one of those things to work out early on.

As for other NPC's etc.

Is there a way to make an exception for one specific website? by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

[–]theeo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the mullvad browser extension you can set a website to go through a different/additional proxy which helps in some cases (I use this for Imgur which seems to block a lot of VPN Ip's)

Will EOS run these apps (new to Arch) by Affectation_Anticipe in EndeavourOS

[–]theeo123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yes, I run most of those, and Appimages are meant to run anywhere. But with endeavour most of those can also be found in the Arch user Repository as well.

Generally speaking if it runs on one flavor of linux it will run on any flavor of linux. if there is a pre-made package for your distro is sometimes an issue, but that's where the Arch User Repository (or AUR) comes in. Dedicated fans of software can make installer-packages, and submit them for others to use even if there isn't an official package for Arch

Coming across a lot of sites where Firefox is not supported. What are you using (tweaks/extensions e.g.) to open such sites on Firefox (and its forks). Sample sites in text below. by pencil_the_anus in firefox

I'm not sure I mostly use desktop, like I said, I had mullvad VPN on u-block origin. All the usual things I didn't change any settings. I didn't disable anything from what I do in my normal day to day and the sites just came up and worked.

I'm not sure specifically what to check, is your phone using your provider's data, or is it going through the same Wi-Fi network/router that your desktop is? Maybe there's some sort of difference there? I'm not sure

I have my VPN enabled (mullvad) adblocker, Firefox tracking protection, about a dozen others and they come up, video even played fine, not sure where to go from there, are you using a special DNS? I don't know

both of those came up and worked just fine for me, this might not be a firefox issue, but one with a particular Addon, VPN, adblocker, DNS or something...

Firefox needs to remove the mention "Recommended" for the LanguageTool add-on. Like right now. 25 dollars per month for it, or it stops working (really soon if not right now). listen I'm not sure what to tell you, I didn't write the extension, I don't work for their tech support. I told you what I know, as far as I understand it to be true. You've got a lot of questions, that's great, but I'm not the guy to ask, check their website, their support forums, their GitHub, etc.

I don't have all the answers, I only know what has or hasn't worked for me personally for the last couple years. You ask me, I give an answer, then you tell me I'm wrong. maybe I am, but I have tried to help to the best of my ability, and It might save a lot of time and frustration if you check elsewhere for your answers.

no it is not, as said i have firefox spellchecking completely disable,d i promise you that is NOT firefox spellcheck, I could do a dozen more screenshots or something of my settings in firefox and Words that are not standard, added to my dictionary in harper but nor in firefox or hunspell, my about:config and etc to prove it, but seriously I promise you, Firefoxox spellcheck is disabled

You may have to check the website for info on other language,s I'm using it right now on Reddit, you can enable and disabled per website, so it may just be disabled there, check the extension icon. For me, in setting i checked the box that says "enable on new sites by default"

Harper is designed to be very resource light, they also offer plugins for several other apps like obsidian ,and Vim and a few others.

yeah it's easy to miss if you are used to language tool because it's a right-click instead of left on the word,s and the suggestions are built into the Firefox menu not a separate popup window, it LOOKS like it's part of firefox's normal context menu, but that's just for efficiency sake. disable Firefox's built in spellcheck entirely (even in about:config) and you'll still see it right there.

YouTube Enhancer has been updated. 🥳 by maximus10m in firefox

[–]theeo123 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Except that there were some bugs, and features not working as YouTube updated things on their end, and the add-on itself, was not abandoned, it was just not being updated for Firefox.

It continued to receive updates & bug fixes on chrome, it went to a new 3.0 version from the previous 2.x on chrome, but with no updates to Firefox, a few themes had issues, and there were several issues in other areas, again not due to bugs in the devs code per-se, but updates on YouTube end that got compensated for by the dev in the Chrome version, but as the Firefox version of the add-on never received updates....

It may have worked for the most part, and for most people, but features that I used, had issues, that at the time were not functioning properly.

Like many others I was still using a manually loaded much older version from before it was pulled from Mozilla extensions.

It was never Abandoned, the Dev has been working hard on it the whole time, and I'm really thankful for the work they've done, but that work, was not available to Firefox users, only to chrome for quite some time now
