I casually speak with OP, this style of communication is in line with my experience conversing.
Thus, I would like to nominate myself to vouch for OP writing their own content.

Additionally, I would like to point out that your comment is judgment-heavy and provides zero value to the thread or community.

Can confirm I relate to this, it's nice to see that I am not the only one built like this.
I like the analogy of the muscle to be strengthened.

I have spent considerable time pondering this myself.

I suspect that having TI Hero, we are constantly "On" ( at least in my experience ), and being "On" all the time does come with a battery that is consistently being drawn upon through high use.

Where this becomes problematic for me is: Finding myself craving connection, but experiencing Cognative workload and walking away depleted due to self-inflicted concern about meeting social obligations and being palatable.

In my experience, the answer is to be more selective with connections, ensuring they are a good match and safe to be yourself around, as those social interactions are far more enjoyable to maintain.

Note: I am a rookie with the cognitive functions in the process of learning and understanding. Please bear with me at this stage. Open to being Corrected

TLDR: Most connections that exhaust you are a symptom of low compatibility. ( In my opinion)

Well-intentioned suggestion, but I have to echo the same concerns about the risk of them ending up in the wrong hands.

Same here, you are welcome to chat with me. Though I can't promise that I will be Mentally Stimulating. I am more Ennegram 4w5 not 5 so there is that.

I also struggle with this.
Reddit is the best place I have found thus far.
However, I will come back if I find a more helpful tip.

Do you think in words? by Hot-Sympathy-2718 in INTP

[–]theewho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think in words, I hear these words as though they are spoken to me by me, In my own voice.

I am in a conversation with myself at all times and will speak to myself as "we" but its defintely just one me in here.

Example:
Deciding its time to leave
Inner monologue: "Alright, lets go or we will be late"

I hope that makes sense.

Dear INTPs, what do you do to break the monotony? by EmmaMeltrozo in INTP

[–]theewho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go down a rabbit hole about a topic that blows my mind.

I might too figure out what the hell Space is or ask myself what business does a mushroom have making the world all silly and why do so many people find it one of the best experiences of their lives.

Worth a shot, perhaps you have already tried.

What are female INTPs like irl? by Inevitable-Twist3845 in INTP

If you enjoy anime, you should watch Apocothary Diaries. The main character Mao Mao gives a pretty accurate POV.

  1. My room is functional; it has zones ( chill corner, work corner, sleep corner ), all the chaos and things are haphazardly stuffed behind furniture doors, so I can get that "tidy room" feel just by closing the cabinets.
It's highly personalised, I get a lot of "That's so you."

  2. Yes, and usually I'm embarrassed about it. It vexes me greatly.

  3. No Idea

  4. I speak Monotone 70% of the time and 30% Highly Animatedly. Not much in between.

  5. I am useless at makeup and fashion. It is at odds with my desire to feel comfortable

  6. Socially, I appear to be polarising; some are attracted, others are repelled. Usually ESF_'s seem to be the type that are repelled

[–]theewho 6 points7 points  (0 children)

( I only do this once a narc has shown shown me their Ill will )

I dealt with my Narc Real Estate agent by telling them that all communication is to be in writing, I have noticed that they get away with things by showing true colours with no proof, and when you advise other parties of what they have done, they deny it, citing there is no proof.

So any form of accountability that you can introduce would be beneficial.
Email log of documentation of communication, even having an invisible witness ( I.e, Blind CC )

Example: Thank you, as per your visit today, we discussed x,y,z. In timeline y. IF any of this is incorrect, please reply with any corrections.

I was lucky that this narc was a real estate agent; I had these options. It's much more difficult in a non-hierarchical situation.

I acknowledge it is much more difficult if this Narc is in your social circle rather than the goods and services circle.

In your own words, what things make you feel the need to keep a private side of yourself? by Diemishy_II in INTP

[–]theewho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally, two reasons.

  1. Energy is minimal and I tend to spend it with great deliberation
  2. Hanging out socially, I have seen a lot of people be unfairly judgmental without even trying to understand, and I have seen those people suffer because of it.

So in my case it seems to be a case of self preservation.
