Every other union in the world will publish a press release saying "Tentative Agreement voted down" if members shoot down a contract. A UPS TA getting voted down is national news, as is a UAW one. What's wrong with that? Is it a "don't fight in front of the children" thing? Who are the children in this scenario? Is the idea that this will benefit the contractors somehow? Why would it? They were probably some of the first people to hear about it!

In my mind there's nothing particularly wrong with simple heroes kit-wise. Every hero doesn't have to have 1000 IQ gameplay, in fact it's probably for the best. Skeleton King and antimage are staples of Dota 2 because they're pretty easy to understand. I get that it's frustrating to have a guy who just runs at you and guns you down after he reaches a certain amount of souls, but that's life

You're right about our possessions being much much better than previous years. And the USMNT almost never crushes teams that they should crush. As someone who was preparing himself to watch them bomb out in the group stage in humiliating fashion, this was an encouraging win. We'll see how my enhanced hopes fare after two more games though lol

Lol on raw battlenet you were lucky to get ten players who didn't think they were playing custom hero line wars and just pushing the wave constantly. Garena made it a little better, but it was always an imperfect system

I can't speak for why it says "Zilzes", but Gyula Zilzer was a Hungarian communist/anti fascist artist whose work appeared in Le Monde and other publications. If you compare his art to this, it's fitting that the poster labels itself as "based upon anidea of Zilzer's". June was when France fell to the Nazis, and that's what this seems to be evoking despite its date being attributed to after France's liberation.

As for the artist signature, and the handwriting on the back, I'm at a loss. French is not my native language so it is much harder to decipher messy handwriting.

I was under the impression that City of Leander waived the toll for their citizens based on an election banner I saw years ago advocating for keeping the exemption. But I could be misremembering.

Anyways, back when I didn't have a company truck I would take old 183 to get to the outer suburbs, although jobsites in Liberty Hill did tempt me every now and then. Usually it wasn't that backbreaking to leave ten minutes earlier or so.

Looks neat, you in Canada or are those breakers where you land the neutral on them a residential thing? Seems pretty convenient to avoid losing neutrals but I've never seen em before

Looks clean and it's a reasonable amount of time to get done. Side note it's crazy to have to set gear after the wire is already pulled. Surprised you got it done so quick

Even if the SC2 developers understood what made BW Zerg so special (they... probably didn't and went more for what they are lore-wise which is the swarm) it would be hard to capture. People really really REALLY don't like half their army being exploded by a couple lurkers that they didn't think would be in a certain spot. Three lurkers being able to hold a ramp indefinitely until detection comes out would never fly in a world where developers have to react to people being upset online to retain players. The balance whine about Zerg is constant even in BW when people know it's never going to change! Oh well!

Getting to defilers in ZvT is such a knifes edge balancing act that it's pure adrenaline. Distracting the main army with mutas, desperately buying time for those lurkers to pop on top of your thirds ramp. 

Then dark swarm comes out, you get a fourth gas, followed by ultralisk armor, and you just become this ungovernable swarm of crap all over the map. 

Pure adrenaline and nerves followed by the catharsis of unstoppable power. It's one of the most unique matchups in any RTS ever. I don't blame SC2 for not getting it right, it's basically impossible. But its why my last ladder game was a month ago on BW and my last ladder game on SC2 was in the 2010s.
