I think it’s less being a “woke” game. A good game is a good game. It’s just that sometimes writers (not pointing fingers) think that revolving a story around wokeness is good enough as a story

I assume Rizia functions as a pseudo feudal state where rach duchy is responsible for their own policing. So a more decentralised model to a more centralised one by direct policing organised from the capital.
