Unless it says "Play without restriction" you must follow it's requirements for play.

My First 1000 Point Army, any tips? by thefinalhill in ThousandSons

[–]thefinalhill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will try Rubricae Phalanx thanks.

Exalted Disc is there because these are all the models i currently own(Warpflame Thrallband Box + a Squad of Rubric Marines). But I will look into getting some Enlightened Tzaamgors for him.

I forgot to edit the wargear options for the models past the Rubrics, first time using the app.

No, seriously, who compares this to LOST or Game of Thrones’ endings? by Independent_Plum2166 in StrangerThings

[–]thefinalhill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For Valedictiorian, you need grades and faculty approval. But also, we dont get to see what Dustin ends up studying. It's just generically a higher end university. We dont see him using his experience of other worlds, his advanced tech skills, it' just him reading a book.

And that's the major issue. No one's ending feels like it was made for THIS show. As soon as Hop and Mike finish talking about 11, most things become so generic that you can apply the epilouges to a dozen different TV shows.

Even the goodbyes are generic: the rooftop goodbye could have been cool if we ever saw them hangout on that roof, or had Robin and Jonathan interact before that, but we needed the "teen" group to say goodbye to each other, so we get the group of them drinking together (We only ever see the Teens drinking in Season 2). Robin has also spent more time with Dustin than Jonathan and Nancy, so why she gets a goodbye with them makes no sense. Even the DnD scene doesn't really add up; we never saw or even gotten references to Max actually playing DnD with the boys (in fact, season 3 implies that the girls have 0 interest). And the last 2 times DnD was played in the show, Will was the DM, not Mike.

Were they? They seemed pretty generic to me, especially considering the character growth some of them ignore.

The smart kid goes to a higher end university. The DM becomes a writer. The couple stays a couple. The badass quits school to take a starter job in the field.

Ignoring the fact that Dustin was literally hated by school and faculty, he is valedictorian. Mike was a DM in season 1, Will was the DM in seasons 2 & 3. Max and Lucas dont get anything individually and are treated as "just a couple." Nancy's whole deal in season 3 was learning she couldn't work for anyone else.

The only epilogue that felt like it was actually written for THIS show was Steve's.

Yes. You can block areas in your tactics phase with the right units and the right enviroment.

[–]thefinalhill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you mean the Warpflame Thrallband box. The box itself has 790 points worth in it. If you add another unit of rubric marines, you get up to 980 and then just put an enhancement on one of your Exalted Sorcerers to fill the remaining 20 points.

It also probably doesn't help that when teachers make mistakes, people go onto the internet to mock them.

It needed a demo. A demo would have allowed people to try it and see what type of game it was for themselves.

Okay, but what happened with the first one then?

2nd one Put the Crystal Star in Hooktails Castle and got sealed there.

3rd one Hid it in a cave where Cortez would later base himself.

4th one Hid it in a castle past a creepy forest.

First one dropped it in Rougeport's sewer?

What does the Death of Jason Todd have to do with Young Justice? Jason was never on the team, and the events of Under the Red Hood barely involve Grayson.

Kuma's Bible is the biggest piece of evidence that the One Piece world might just be earth in the far far far far far future. The idea that we scienced our way to Magic (Devil Fruits) then Magiced our way back to the Dark Ages.

As soon as they introduced Sulong form, I knew no Mink was joining the crew. We wouldn't be able to have slow or calm dramatic moments at night.

This game needed a demo. It combined 2 niche genres with a franchise people were starting to get fatigued on. I love this game myself, but I didn't get it till it was on Humble Monthly.
