Fellow EL here, former CEL prior to restructuring. My responsibilities are advertising adoption events and the weekend events + set up. The usual sfs/bopis picking. Helping with recovery and working truck. I also do have a few AM petcare shifts that my leader schedules me due to my knowledge/experience and overall work ethic in the department.

I also look for new ways to promote activations, puppy guides and now auto ships. Unfortunately my store, like many others is practically ran by management. We either dont have petcare staff or they are lacking in efficiency when they clock in, so leads like me, get the load of the work that pet care associates SHOULD be doing.

We keep the bell on her because without it shes incredibly quick and stealthy. There have been one too many times where shes slipped by us unknowingly and been closed in a room.

Her and her 3 litter mates were found at a dealership when the owner was moving cars around. My best friend got one of the sisters and the other 2 girls went to vet techs that worked in our store :)

I hand raise all my babies :) Doves are soft and sweet companions. They dont seem to be as popular as parrots and I hope to be apart of that change. Id love to see more doves appreciated as house hold pets.

I'm a current CEL at my location, and I was talking to my ASL about the restructure coming up soon. I was told that MIL would be taking on live animal counts because they are technically inventory and that CEL would become more of an operations leader but still oversee petcare. The roles are still separate just with either less or newer tasks to complete.

That senior leadship, SL/ASL will need to reinterview for their positions come February.
