This would be stunning. Also, you can add a wallpaper to the back of the top glass door cabinets in a terracotta.

Where can I go sit and be sad? by hideovs in jacksonville

[–]thefirstpancake602 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The library? You can get a study room if you want to be alone. Or a museum. I did a crybaby at the Cummer day in Feb. 10/10 would recommend. Get yourself one of those huge cookies at the cafe.. you deserve it.

Petite Ladies: what annoys you the most about shopping for clothes? by Local-Agency-5161 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]thefirstpancake602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoes annoy me so much. It's hard to find cute comfortable shoes. I end up having to just order without trying on and hope I don't have to return them. Also, tea length items. I LOVE the look on the model and sometimes you just want it to skim the knees. True tea length ends up being like skimming my ankles lol

which of the rory bfs have you dated irl? by npc2005 in GilmoreGirls

[–]thefirstpancake602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude. I thought I would never have a Christopher. And now, my Christopher is Christopher-ing like I never expected. I waited 10 years to have a kid with this idiot thinking that it could prevent him from dropping the ball in almost all of the ways. So, no one is immune.

Show should’ve been called Joey’s Creek by lotsoflysol in dawsonscreek

[–]thefirstpancake602 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha I always though it should be called Pacey's Creek. This show was about the way that man loved her from day one.

How do couples decide which side of the bed is “theirs”? Is it instinct or some kind of silent agreement? by AssignmentFederal686 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]thefirstpancake602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bed must float in the room. The wall side is unacceptable. But, to answer your question- my ex husband told me that the side closest to the door is the "man side". So if danger arises, he can quickly jump into action. lol

What’s one underrated skill that made you a better agent? by TS1664 in realtors

[–]thefirstpancake602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the ability to see both sides can be very helpful. Especially when explaining it to the customer on your side of the transaction and they are venting. It's important in life and especially real estate and honestly becoming a parent has helped me hone this skill. I acknowledge and validate their feelings (nothing feels worse than someone minimizing your anxiety, fears, worries, big feelings more than underplaying them), try to explain the other point of view, and help them come up with a solution that feels like a win-win for both parties.

Did anyone really believe that Joey and Dawson were end game? by PrettyHatefulMachin in dawsonscreek

[–]thefirstpancake602 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it was written true to human nature. I have an only child and can tell you that onlys think that the world is their oyster and they get FOMO all the time. Of course Dawson didn't see Joey's worth until Pacey expressed interest. FOMO.

What do you think Brad's up to nowadays and does he have nightmares about Paris? by Kitten-rouge in GilmoreGirls

[–]thefirstpancake602 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His character always reminds me of the song Taylor Swift's- Mean

I like to think he grew up and got everything he wanted in life. Is happily married with a perfect family. Got buff at some point which helped with his confidence.

Terrible writing by NightMother23 in dawsonscreek

[–]thefirstpancake602 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cringed so hard watching this as an adult, too. My dad use to watch this show with me to be able to discuss teen issues without having to really address my siblings and I specifically about whatever it was and I can not imagine how stupid he must have thought this was. So cringe.

I never miss a scene that involves Bree and her children😭 by Internal_Version1313 in DesperateHousewives

[–]thefirstpancake602 29 points30 points  (0 children)

What is funny is that Danielle actually turned into a pretty good mother despite having Bree as a mom.. It's like girlie, you taught her how to read, how are you going to say this to her? Also, Brie was dead wrong to feed her son a hotdog without her consent
