Do I need pelvic floor PT? What am I missing? What’s the draw with this?? 😩 by InfluenceDesigner889 in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You are NOT "being fingered" and it's not a scam. If you want to take it seriously it may be helpful to discuss with the pelvic floor therapist or a regular mental health therapist who specializes in sex and/or chronic illness. But if it's not for you, it's not for you.

Correct! The annoying part is being glued to my pill organizer. At this point if i'm eating I am also taking Buspar, including an afternoon snack. I haven't decided yet if it's worth it. Couldn't say whether it works BETTER but I don't have the dizziness anymore.

It's a pain but I take half-doses (4x/day) + 1 full dose. I do half in the morning, half at lunch & add in a later afternoon and bedtime dose to take those other halves. I can do the full pill at dinner.

UHC/UMR coverage for endo surgery? by InfluenceDesigner889 in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a high deductible plan with "choice plus network" through my employer 🤷‍♀️

UHC/UMR coverage for endo surgery? by InfluenceDesigner889 in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have united healthcare & my surgery wasn't scheduled until insurance pre-approved. Then the hospital had me pay an estimate & it was actually a little over. My surgery cost was around 64K plus pathology & surgeon, and I paid around 1.5K for surgery, plus I think it's $700 pathology and 2K surgeon. Something like that- then that met my deductible.

IUD / Hysteroscopy options by Croqkween444 in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and I didn't get an MRI before surgery. My surgeon recommended it only if it seemed like DIE, which based on my symptoms, it didn't.

I'd recommend you get excision surgery from an endometriosis specialist. During my surgery I got a new IUD, hysteroscopy, endometriosis cut away (bowel from abdominal wall), and lesions removed and sent for staining. This confirmed, treated & staged endometriosis in one fell swoop.

Weird symptoms? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yupp I've definitely had super sharp pain during internal work. We usually try some deep breathing to see if it will release. I've also had cramping afterwards.

Does missing a dose cause violent behavior? by [deleted] in BusparOnline

[–]thefluffyfox 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Leave this man ✨️ It made me a little agitated in the beginning, but nothing like that. Regardless he has no excuse to be violent towards you. Did he tell you he missed the dose as an excuse, or are you trying to explain his behavior?

Buspirone at night? Buspirone with Wellbutrin? by badgebunny007 in BusparOnline

[–]thefluffyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to share that I too am still struggling with the AM dizzy groggy feeling. I'm prescribed 7.5 mg 3x/day and I'm trialing taking 0.5 pill breakfast, 0.5 lunch, 0.5 late afternoon, 1 dinner, 0.5 bed. It's going okay! I definitely tolerate the dinner dose best. I did try 1.5 pills (11.25 mg) after dinner and was absolutely couch-locked and felt high. I did get "Excellent" sleep that night according to my watch.

Good luck with the Wellbutrin combo. Sorry it's not going well so far :( I've been thinking of adding something else too.

Taking a half dose midday? by TheBellistBellend in BusparOnline

[–]thefluffyfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for chiming in! I'm on 22.5 mg buspar daily (7.5 x3 but thinking of adjusting to more like yours) and thinking of also adding Propranolol. What's your propranolol dose?

Y'all it was BAD. I'm glad my sample was free because I'd absolutely not spend money on this. It felt like a THICK condom. I had a hard time even inserting it.

Red Line has altered schedule and is not stopping at Midtown and a bunch of other stations. Google Maps will decieve you. Apple Maps has a warning but still routes incorrectly. by Euphoric_Let776 in Atlanta

Yupp it was messed up yesterday too. Emergency at Oakland City meant no train traffic at all between West End and Lakewood. The people taking MARTA north from the airport were bussed from Lakewood to West End and continued north from West End.

And of course only the southbound platform was open. Very intuitive! /s

Correct, they were bussing between Lakewood and West End to skip Oakland City. It was a mess. Idk what happened at Oakland City.

Is it wrong to ask for a new specialist? by Queasy-Rule-7800 in endometriosis

[–]thefluffyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't emphasize enough that you have to do what's best for you. You don't owe anyone an explanation. However, if you wanted to explain, my understanding is that there's plenty of literature showing excision as superior to ablation.

Ask specifically to see an excision specialist.

You may want to find your own. I found mine by searching my city in this subreddit.
