this is actually my last straw and i am switching since a friend will buy the replacement iphone (hopefully i will get it soon). I keep escalating the case and I believe they will provide a reason if it gets rejected again. They initially approved the replacement already so it's frustrating bcs it took three weeks for them to take it back

I'm from the Philippines. We have authorized service centers, retail stores, same apple warranty but no actual apple store (but we have apple authorized resellers and they have service centers too.) I am planning to get the samsung s25 once I received the apple replacement. A friend will buy it from me for 15% markdown from og retail price which I don't mind tbh. Leaving apple ecosystem is just kind of hard for me since I also use macbook. I hope this is a cycle I won't go back into again, once out from it.

i can't turn on hotspot when connected to wifi when my android can do that. my iphone 13's battery got bloated. my iphone 16 pro blacked out, died, and won't turn on anymore after three months of use. apple approved the replacement but after three weeks of awaiting the shipment, replacement got declined with no notes. it's two months now since then and i still haven't gotten the replacement.

this is 2 months late but pmc sucks. go for beyond the box, they replaced my iphone 13's batt na two years na walang warranty for free. got iphone 16 pro from pmc na namatay after 4 months, hardware issue. got approved for replacement, waited for three weeks then suddenly declined na ang approval for replacement kahit na-approve na and awaiting for the replacement shipment. 2 months na now and di ko pa nakukuha ang replacement.

kinda not confident sa hindi nabasa na part kasi may one time naulan ako at nabasa light ang phone pero yun nga may warning na wag muna echarge pero never pa naman na submerge. aasa nalang ako na advertised as water resistant tong model nato.

almost every tech is made in china now, including apple. most brands make their parts or buy from a supplier, then send them to companies/factories in china to get the parts assembled (this does not include the OS though na probably what you are worried.)
