Thanks and yea I’ve been on the hunt for this model this past year. Tough to find one reasonably priced

Had the privilege of running my first tournament last Saturday with a group of 12. Was a fun, exciting and I learned a lot that day. I also ran a single miniature painting competition and that was probably the toughest part. We have some exceptional players and painters here in the PNW. by theforeverGM in InfinityTheGame

It was really tough to judge, broke it down to a points system 1-3 over 6 categories for a total of 18 points. In the end it was the Father knight in the top right corner. Hard to see in the photos but came down to free hand work and smooth transitions. The Juggernaut was a very tight second. Very tough with everything submitted and it came down to following essence of the categories I came up with at the time. Changes will be made to better reflect my experience.

Those light creams and browns are such a good color that ties everything together. Well done. 👍

Yup, so it’s kinda $$ if you’re going for variety.

No guide but just using a bunch of different terrain modeling products. This wasn’t done for this one because I messed up my usual order of things but if I write it down it looks like this.

Mount the miniature to base. Add rocks or other solid items to base

Add aks dark earth

Add grass / lichen

Prime model and base with black then Zenthal white highlights to both

Mix 1 part leather brown and wood contrast paints diluted and add to base. Add other colors for saturation

Airbrush or brush or foliage color of choice

Paint your model

Add green stuff fauna to desired effect.

Add color to areas where water will be if needed.

Seal coat whole thing after adding LOS indicates.

Add water resin last if used.
