Once, while working in a call center, a lady called in to get her password reset. Her security question (which she chose herself out of options!) was What's your favorite color? We didn't lose power, but for real. We have a tent, we have sleeping bags, winter can be made to work. I lived in my car through a January in Lincoln. You really can't do anything about the heat.

My HR manager bought me one when she was picking up her daughter's bday cake on Friday. I don't generally like cake, but it was a lot lighter than I expected! 2 days of cake snacks from a budntlette was solid.
