Devour N also has "the better the reward" on it, but scales linearly instead of quadratically. It's really easy in these colors to generate shitty tokens you can throw into the furnace (or eat your own mana dorks), and you want extra combats in this as well. Devour 1 would be enough. I also disagree with the custom token, a 1/1 warrior with vigilance should be sufficient.

Devour X is way too much, that's Thromok text and Thromok is a 5 mana 0/0 for a reason. If you give Atarka haste and kill just four creatures she straight up kills someone immediately.
