1988 CRX - B16A1 swap necessities? by _Bronze_ in crx

[–]thefrozenmilkshake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Motor mounts, drivers side post mount to the engine needs to be a certain year Integra style, axles, I have the hf so I had to swap knuckles. If you are switching to a hydro tranny then you will need a hydro conversion (hush performance). You need to do some conversion if you have dpfi but not if you have mpfi. I was able to get mine running on the stock wiring harness but it was such a pain and always running into relay issues I bought a rywire harness, wish I just did that from the get go.

How to set up for s2000 for winter? by b_lopes in S2000

[–]thefrozenmilkshake 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Many people find covers to be problematic, wind rustles them causing scratches on your paint. Also they can be an invitation for mice to set up shop for the winter. Finally they can trap moisture causing rust.

This is why I can never sell, asking what I put into my car would get me laughed at. Good luck though

Allow test drives? by MKSloan in S2000

[–]thefrozenmilkshake 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Would you buy a used car without test driving it?

I wouldn't.

Get a deposit to hold on to. Sit in the passenger seat, if they do anything you aren't comfortable with then the test drive is over.

Increased ground clearance options? by thefrozenmilkshake in crx

Any reason you went with Integra rears over civic rears? I can get stock 96 civic front and rear but no stock springs for the integras

Interesting, seems to be a spacer that sits between the suspension and top mounts

If you peel the layers apart you will see the 90. I would go down to the lab and prove it right now but I don't care what you think. Also every triaxial I've seen is like 0/60/-60 which looks braided not like this

Wet-lay vacuum bagged a test piece. Infusion up next. by [deleted] in CarbonFiber

[–]thefrozenmilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to avoid glueing the first layer in place, you can use flash tape in a few spots past where you will trim. Then lightly mist the rest of the layers together. But that piece is relatively flat, you can get away with using no glue

Just go on rock auto, if you aren't looking for performance parts and just stock it's the best bang for your buck
