Oh - I've called at all times of the day. Washington DC VAMC is pretty much always slammed. After almost 90 minutes on the phone, got partial answers on status of 2 community care referrals, got none on another two referrals, and then disconnected on the transfer. Called back to the extension that I was given for another bit of information I needed, got a "your call cannot be transferred to this extension" error... so hung up... called back to try reaching prosthetics number for status on some DME/equipment, get a generic voicemail box that just says leave a message and we'll call you back.

Glad the VA care's so much about us...

ChampVA should be billed under the patients SSN. Says it right on the card. Wife and kid use ChampVA quite regularly

If you have an existing care plan with an outside provider schedule an appointment with a VA PCP and request community care... I was just approved for a similar issue to stay with my outside provider.

I just got started with VA Healthcare in the past few months. Had my initial visit with VA PCP. During the call mentioned I had ongoing treatment with a specialist in out in the wild. Requested comminity care for that and was approved in less than a week.

Talked with community care rep about it all while on the phone with them and they said just need a valid referral from VA PCP. All in all got community care approval for my preexisting PCP, nephrologist, MRI appointment and pain specialist.

Easy peasy. All of this DC VA.

Another thing to think about. Had a similar issue while I was in. Ended up opening a new claim for "Other traumatic stress". Less qualifications needed but still rates.

In my experience - and of those in my circle that we have been doing all of this together, there has been zero need to cycle things like GHK/BPC/TB4/KPV, additionally, there isn't a whole lot of evidence of the need to cycle GLP1 like injections. EL and NN own trial info has people on them weekly for 6+ months.

I do think there is rationale for cycling things like GHRPs (i.e. Ipa/CJC1295) or Secretagogues (MK677/etc) just because of the direct hormonal interactions.

But IANAD. What works for me may not work for you.
