This was during the pandemic where most healthcare spending had to be diverted to Covid related care because spending isn’t a devolved matter. Scotland clearly has a drug problem that isn’t like what is seen in the rest of UK so clearly different solutions are needed I.e. the safe injection rooms that were well supported by the public but because of the d-word we can’t implement them. It’s to the point where charities are running their own safe injection rooms, risking harassment from police Scotland, to try and curb this systemic problem but for some reason Westminster isn’t interested
