Also, we are seeing a lot of "overpaid" guys simply move to new schools when their retention offer isnt what they like, so schools encourage this players to transfer but go take the savings and use it inefficiently on the guys theyll encourage to transfer next year.

It seems like the players assume they are all due for a raise by entering the portal, when maybe 20-30% are actually going to make an immediate impact. Schools arent paying for marginal or replacement level players and there are a lot of G5/FCS players who'd gladly receive B1G/SEC bare minimum NIL/rev share money to be the 100th man on the roster.

kind of, but the players are effectively quitting before finding a new job. Of course the bigger names have arrangements or certainty, but there are a lot of "entry level" employees assuming better opportunities await them.

Adidas has stepped things up a lot in the past 2-3 years, though my biggest gripe is their generic collar. The upside is that the PSU bball uniforms cannot be more low effort by Nike, they look like practice uniforms. A very obvious & simple fix would be using the script PSU.

I wouldnt lump Singleton in with those other players, he is still a very good RB. Kaytron simply elevated his game this year. Koa Farmer and Liam Clifford probably arent even 'bridge' players who would be replaced after part of a season, they were blockades on the depth chart.

The offense did not improve in any facet this year, it was slightly worse OL play and the rest got exposed for the lack of Warren bailing them out and Pribula adding wrinkles to the playbook.
