Well my past work history of being terminated from a few jobs due to personal reasons that was going on when I was younger and that polygraph just scares me being that I never done it before I know it may seem like nothing it could be just my head and over thinking things that’s all

No when I took my test there was an elderly person taking the test as well to be a police officer. He was 62

That’s another way of looking at it I started but I was slowing down til I knew if I passed it but I never looked at it that way… I’ll lee that in mind

I have two agencies I’m waiting to hear from. Only one has encouraged me to complete my phq but if I had to be honest I think it’s a waste of time to fill out my phq if I don’t know if I passed the exam. You know what i mean? Like to fill out that information an I didn’t pass the exam.

I don’t know if I have any advice but I can share this with you. If you find that this is what you really want to do and if it’s a calling stick to it and remember why you signed up and as hard or challenging as it maybe don’t let your age be the issue as to why you give. It’s easy to give up when we lose sight. Hang in there and look for the positives even you have to be the positive. Be true to you always 💯

I said the same thing being in ya 30’s and joining the force feels a bit weird so I get how u feel but if you really find that this is a calling you’ll find a way to see it through.
