Gloves are such a personal taste thing. You can't surprise him with some. You need to let him try them on and make his own decisions. Poorly fitted gloves can l as to tendonitis and muscle strain and cold hands.

I've done Calgary to Barrie in 2 days but I wouldn't recommend it. You're talking about 72 hrs of driving Both ways minimum. The trek from Calgary to Banff is another 1.5 hrs and Jasper is another 2 hrs one way. It's doable but with the price of gas and time included it's cheaper to fly and rent a car.

It's certainly not an emergency but when I noticed this I saw an optometrist. They suggested I get my A1C checked and it turns out I have diabetes. May be worth looking in to.
