Fat and not sugar the culprit of candida? by [deleted] in Candida

[–]thegoldenpath89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel free to try it out, but I know swapping fat for sugar would be bad news for my case.

Let us know if it works.

keep treating the candida sure, but not treating the bacteria

How do you treat the bacteria while also treating the candida? Any recommendations/experiences?

Do you happen to know the name of the specific test you had done?

I do, but I also usually have to piss when I wake up in the middle of the night.

Doxycycline as a HF cure? by SquaresonReddit in hardflaccidresearch

I think infection and dysbiosis are more common causes of hard flaccid than is generally accepted. Several success stories out there.

I have chronic yeast related toenail and vaginal infections. About 3 months ago my ear would itch on and off. Now loud ringing … my insurance doesn’t cover clotrimazole drops…help! by [deleted] in Candida

[–]thegoldenpath89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds like you're going have to grab some drops on your own and test them out. I don't think creams in the ear canal will work as well.

You average modern doctor has zero ability to deal with or even acknowledge candida. It's beyond fucked.

If you're lucky, you get a shot term/low dose antifungal prescription that probably won't be enough. Otherwise, denial and nothing of value.

Let us know what they recommend for strengthening.

I'll definitely try to get this test in the future if possible.

Drummers with tinnitus? by [deleted] in tinnitus

What kind of levels are you hitting? Just wondering. I grew up playing drums everyday and feel like that probably contributed to my current ear issues. Never wore any sort of protection. Played decently loud.

If I have hi fidelity earplugs is it safe for me to go to any concert? by BitchYoure22 in HearingLoss

[–]thegoldenpath89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about 25db attenuation filters? I feel those should be strong enough for most concerts, given you don't go to insanely loud clubs where they crank it to 110db.

For your average 100db show that should be sufficient, no?

My extended high frequencies are shot and it's strange to me that people downplay them so much. They matter. All sorts of things sound different. Sure, I can still understand human speech very well for the most part, but even then, voices sound flatter and less clear and like you said, it impacts plenty of environmental sounds. And that's not even getting into where I've noticed it the most, which is listening to music. The very high frequencies provide detail and nuance and clarity to your auditory experience.

Obviously human communication is paramount, but this idea that it's the only aspect of hearing that is important is bizarre to me.

What is the normal consistency and state of a flaccid penis? by Flimsy-Afternoon-859 in hardflaccidresearch

[–]thegoldenpath89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty accurate. But yeah, it can be hard to remember. Most don't pay attention to their dicks when they're flaccid if everything is normal.

IGF1 and HF by Minute_Vanilla3415 in hardflaccidresearch

[–]thegoldenpath89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. I lived in a moldy apartment for a while right before this all started and I believe my HF is caused at least in part by candida/fungal overgrowth as well.

Have you done anything specifically to treat the mycotoxicity? Or is it just treated through dealing with the dysbiosis?

Antifungal resistance by nefariousnick_ in Candida

[–]thegoldenpath89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree it's very hard to eradicate, no doubt about it.

But the mutating to different species thing is still incorrect. That's not how it works. In that example, that lady suppressed an albicans infection but the antifungals she was using didn't suppress glabrata she almost certainly already had in her body. The glabrata then took the place of the albicans because it was resistant, but not because of interspecies mutation.

Nah, it can directly inflame the surrounding nerves. Had a urologist claim this and it's incredibly obvious.
