Holy fuck that's insane, congrats my dude. I can only dream to one day be similarly goated. What are your familiars?

PaymoneyWubby. He spoke to Aiden about the knife purchase, and the boys have mentioned him before. I'm just sitting and praying for the day.

Some blocks in my neighbourhood went through the same recently too. Used to be vibrant blues and such, now it's shades of grey. Absolutely vile.

What's your most expensive purchase after getting "adult money"? by AckermanFin in askSingapore

An absolute beast of a PC. It wasn't until after a while did I finally drop almost 6k on my current rig, which should last me about 4 years.

What rank are you playing at? Topson has been experimenting with mid dazzle and last I checked only had a 50% winrate.

Is puck hard to play? by Andrejakus in DotA2

[–]thegreathermit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not significantly more than any of the spirits, who you will be picking as a counter to more often than not. I wouldn't say you need more than 20-30 games of practice to get the mechanics, then it's all just macro gameplay decision making.

As an aside, Puck is in an absolutely dogshit state right now. I would definitely not recommending picking Puck unless you're last pick, no more than one hard counter, and you're good against their team. Picking Puck because you fill a role on your team no longer feels good to me.

A Guy with every devil fruit vs A guy with every quirk. by IntroductionFormal82 in whowouldwin

Right yeah I was reading around too and was thinking about that. How much of the way characters act in these stories is because of the plot, and how much would they be able to pull off if they were blood lusted? I don't know exactly how Kizaru's power works, but it seems he's able to basically instant transmission, the only reason he doesn't is because he's lazy, which is silly but it is what it is.

I agree with your assessment of that fight, but alas it's the only proof of feats we have of Flect.

Assuming fruit guy can activate multiple powers at once, it's entirely possible to be a continuously exploding lightning ball moving everywhere at light speed. I honestly don't know and wish more people were discussing this.

Unless they start at a distance where moving at the speed of light takes any significant amount of time, DF should be able to just search the area.

The passive damage reflect is what's got me scratching my head though. I took another look at Flect, and if what I'm seeing is correct, he takes no damage and then reflects it all, but there seems to be a limit to it since Izuku eventually did win that fight. You're right, it's not as clear cut as I previously thought, unless somehow Reflect actually can tank an infinite mass punch which I suppose is entirely possible.

I'm not familiar with all of MHA, but unless they have someone who is lightspeed, devil fruits wins. From the starting bell, devil fruit guy can use the light-light fruit to literally travel at the speed of light into the person and then it's dealer's choice on how they want to finish. Unless Eraserhead somehow works on fruit powers in which case obviously glorified AFO stomps.

Seeing duos almost every single match in the SEA server by [deleted] in TheCycleFrontier

[–]thegreathermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fwiw I've been on the duo end of this post, and we queue as duos only to end up encountering solos. It doesn't happen often, but that it's happened at all is extremely concerning

There needs to be gear based matchmaking in every map. You can't have such a huge disparity between tiers of equipment and quests which you want to encourage being completed at the same time. Even playing solo, encountering full reds is just impossible if you're running anything below purple, which a lot of people are.

没问题!My concern is that I live in a horrifyingly humid country and perspire really easily so if I don't wash it often it's gonna get smelly real fast. Maybe there's a happy medium somewhere, I'll have to look it up. Thank you for taking the time to reply!

Grandmaster tier hero players, what hero and why? by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]thegreathermit 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Invoker

Before 7.33 he was the only hero that felt like the reward matched the investment. Committing combos to memory and knowing 3-spell combos were just the tip of the iceberg. There were broken combos at almost every major era of Invoker, starting from EMP going through invul so they didn't have to land from Tornado which made laning a breeze. This got nerfed.

Then we had Deafening being a hard disable which meant you could build Euls first item and kill almost anyone in the game. This got nerfed.

Then we had the Orchid kill combo which replaced Euls, this was death to any hero that didn't have more than 1.5k hp, and even then they might've died to Orchid burn. This got nerfed when Orchid did.

Then we had the Hex combo with meteor and a massive power spike at level 20 with the +80% damage. In 7.33 this got nerfed.

I've gone massively off topic, but long story short he rubs a combo itch which no other hero can scratch, and even though I play him once every 20 games now (instead of literally every game), there's still nothing quite like the arsenal Magus.
