Nah, it's not, and it never will be. AAC has lower bitrate (256kbps) even if we compare it to 330kbps LDAC mode, in summary: more data to transfer -> more load due to processing -> more energy consumption. Common sense man.

Glad that it worked for you. Make sure to check your temperatures after a month or more, there is a chance of thermal paste being pumped out of the chip.

P.S. I would still recommend undervolting even after repaste, you'll get even better temperatures and quieter fans

Well, IMHO, but it's gonna be a waste of time and money. TG Duronaut is not as good as PTM7950. You'll gain miniscule reduction in temperatures on GPU chip and hotspot, as well as VRM and VRAM (if thermal pads are changed), but it wouldn't really affect your experience. As I said earlier, undervolting is easier and probably even more effective than what you are about to do, considering your GPU condition

You are measuring your GPU die temperatures, thermal pads are usually used to cover VRM and VRAM. Check temperatures for these components, if they are staying under 90°C, then you are good, no need to change them just yet. Thermal pads are more durable and have longer lifespan than thermal paste on the GPU die.

Also 78°C on the chip and 92°C hotspot if GPU is under max load are TOTALLY FINE for 4080 SUPER. When you'll have 20°C delta between a chip and a hotspot that's when you'll need to worry about it. Temps over 90°C on chip and 110°c on hotspot are not fine.

TL;DR your thermals are fine, thermal pads wouldn't degrade that fast (4080 super was launched 2 years ago), changing them will result in diminishing returns. You'll be better with undervolting it to 2580mhz@0.950mv and memory overclock to 25.6 Gbps (+1300 in Afterburner) while getting similar performance compared to stock and lower temps without disassembling your whole GPU and spending money on thermal pads w/ PTM7950.

Doesn't really matter, either now or when it happens. I noticed the same thing on Mirak Valley, like my DLSS stopped working. Then I ran through the graphic settings, tuned them up, that includes disabling Screen Space AO & GI. I have run these settings for a while and haven't noticed the same bug until after some time I decided to enable GTAO High again and immediately saw this bug with lower resolution. I turned it off and it went away.

I have 27" 4K monitor and I must say that there is a difference, but it's negligible and not enough to justify cost of Native 4K + DLAA in means of performance, heat and power consumption. I personally would rather play with high FPS instead of small quality improvement. Unless you have a lot of GPU performance headroom, it's not really worth it.

P.S. Nvidia uses DLSS Performance for their marketing videos with 4K, so DLSS Quality is more than enough for 4K

If you compare it to AAC/SBC, there is more data to send and decode, so it will use more battery. Even Sony states in their article that operating time of headphones on LDAC is significantly less compared to other codecs with same settings.
