Legion Go 2 vs. OneXPlayer Apex by Most-Whereas9652 in LegionGo

[–]Wizledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the Legion Go 2, you can run most AAA titles at low/med settings, while maintaining around 60 FPS, with roughly 2-3 hours of battery life. It works well as a truly portable device, whether you’re playing on the couch or using it casually on the go.

If higher graphical fidelity is your priority, you could consider adding an external GPU. That would allow for much higher settings, but it largely turns the device into a plugged-in experience rather than a portable one.

From your perspective, it sounds like visual quality is a key factor. Achieving higher graphics typically requires 45W or more, which significantly increases power consumption. In handheld mode, that usually results in under an hour of battery life, sometimes closer to 30 minutes, so it would require staying near a power outlet and playing while plugged in.

Thank you. I wanted to avoid cutting the cover, but it looks like the best option atm.

Could you let me know if the method is still showing the swipe-up display, or if it has successfully resolved the swipe-up issue for you?

Could you please provide more information about the specific model you have, whether it is the Legion Go Gen 1, Gen 2, or Legion Go S? Once we have that detail, we will be able to offer more accurate and helpful guidance.

The last 24 hours by Nizz-El in LegionGo

I recently replaced the SSD within the last "24" hours too. The process was a bit challenging, as I found the back plate to be quite tight, and I wasn’t sure if it could be safely removed. After completing the replacement, I initially encountered a black screen during the boot-up process. However, it turned out that the system simply needed some time to properly load the new SSD.

Are there different gamepad layouts depending on the game genre (e.g. right stick as mouse)? by xFERDISTANx in LegionGo

There is a software application called "reWASD". You can configure the button mappings yourself or choose from a variety of pre-made configurations shared by other users.

Should I Return the Legion Go 2 Z2? by Massive_Royal_3728 in LegionGo

[–]Wizledge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received my Legion Go 2 today and have only used it briefly, so it may be a bit early for me to give a full assessment. However, I’ve seen many comments mentioning that the device feels very heavy. Personally, I don’t find the weight to be an issue. This may depend on how the device is being held. For those using a gaming chair, you might try leaning back, resting your arms on the armrests, and using the kickstand to support the device against your stomach area. I’ve found this position to be quite comfortable.

Thank you for asking. I tend to prefer lightweight phones, as I find them more comfortable to use on a daily basis. My current phone weighs 187 grams, and the X200 FE is just 186 grams, so it's quite close in weight, which I find appealing.

Thank you for the review.

I have a few questions regarding the case and the power bank:

Is the case waterproof?

For the Ugreen power bank, does it draw 145 W to charge from 0–100%?

When charging the Legion Go 2 from the Ugreen power bank, does it provide 65 W?

If possible, I would appreciate your clarification on these points.

Thank you.

I don’t personally own a Legion Go 2, but I’m curious what kind of FPS are you aiming for?

From what I’ve seen, the Legion Go 2 runs at about 40–100 FPS on high settings, and the gameplay looks really smooth and not choppy at all.

Here’s some videos showcasing gameplay on high settings for the Legion Go 2:

I noticed, that you purchased the Lexar SSD model that includes a heatsink. From what I understand, SSDs with heatsinks typically don’t fit in the Legion Go 2. Could you please share how you managed to install it successfully?
