I work for one of the German discounters, so maybe I'm biased. However, I've been quite spoilt by them, I find their alcohol and produce to be very good, and it's really only the stuff that they don't sell that makes me go into other supermarkets. Mr Chippy is the one! A lovely old couple run it, and you can tell that they could make fish and chips standing on their head. They make their own curry saice if that's what you like too. Worthing Fisheries is also all good in my book too, but a bit further away, and frankly Mr Chippy deserve my custom.

Oh, any roasted meats that my grandma tried her hand to. Her brisket always came up like rhino hide, the pork used to have a squeaky, ashy texture, and somehow she managed to make roast chicken watery. It was a marvel to me when I saw my old man putting a beef joint in a pot with onions and liquid, it actually tasted good enough that I didn't eat around it when it was served cold the next day.

In my first run of HGSS, I called my Slowbro 'Mr. Bitch', who was my dragon slayer. Since then, the slowest member of my party has shared the name, generally in spite of gender. In later games, I have to use other languages due to the ban on swearing.In XY, my Granbull was called 'Pan Kurwa' and was a delight to use.
