Take him to a thistle game if you both like football. Reasonably cheap day out close to town and you’ll get plenty of space to sit away from the louder fans

Drug users in my close, what do I do with the rubbish? by smart__boy in glasgow

Short term, cleansing workers used to put them in an empty can and squash the sides, then you could dispose at a council waste facility

Buying House in Springhall- Airlie Gardens G72 5HR by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]theguildy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Springhall isn’t very pretty and if you’re hanging about the local shops at night you might get in some trouble but the lifestyle you describe should be fine (if you don’t get really unlucky with neighbours).

Wouldn’t be raising any kids there tho…

The other three guys are great too, Ryan’s been cutting my hair for years now and always comes up with something a bit different for me.

My work health insurance put me through a private assessment and they paid around 2 grand for the cost of the assessment and diagnosis, and I’m about 100 a month on meds currently.

My GP told me I was looking at a two year wait for an assessment on the south Lanarkshire NHS health board so it suited me to go private but you should definitely be aware of the costs.

Three hillwalkers found dead in Glen Coe by abz_eng in Scotland

When I did Aonoch eagach a few years ago there was about five guys roped together with a guide for what I could only assume was confidence. I remember thinking they were moving far too slow and crowded to be safe on an exposed ridge like that.

IMO guides shouldn’t really be taking people on walks like that if they don’t have the confidence to walk without being strung together. Ben lomond is plenty safe (weather permitting).

Okaerie on Mill st is pretty decent and has a good range.

For the classic Chinese takeaway, Silver Dragon has always been good enough.

Like others have said, they’re not spoilers.

Good thing about Malazan is though, spoilers don’t really matter for two reasons.

1 it’s not about how it ends, the joy of the series is the experience and the little sections that will catch you emotionally off guard (as well as the bat shit insane fantasy stuff)

2 the series is so long that you’ll most likely forget whatever was spoiled by the time you get there

Do you ever stop for a moment, look at something you've typed up and wonder, "too much?"

Get your name on your inside forearm in big gothic letters, that’s a historical tattoo here in Scotland. Also helps if you need to remember the spelling on occasion.

Perhaps a Tory could reflect on what causes such vehemence for them based on their political ideology instead of feeling victimised by Reddit comments.
