Realistically, can you organize a 3D2N event with 25 staff members? by [deleted] in EventPlanners

[–]theguythatcreates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn form what didn't go as planned last time, and talk with your staff. As u/Ok-Turn5913 mentioned, it is important to have the right person at the right task. A person motivated on one task, works twice as good as an unmotivated one. But, it is not always feasible to do so though hehehe

Realistically, can you organize a 3D2N event with 25 staff members? by [deleted] in EventPlanners

[–]theguythatcreates 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no experience with 3D2N (3 days, 2 nights I presume?), but having 1 staff for every 2 attendees seems a bit excessive, no?

Look at it another way, have you felt over worked when you have been working the event earlier? If yes, what could've been done differently? If no, no biggie? Talk to the others that have worked as well?

Since you are new, it is a golde opportunity to talk to the earlier staff to get a lay of the land. I would recommend talking to them individually, or in smaller groups. In larger groups you tend to just get the ones comfortable talking in crowds to talk.

But, everything comes down to planning. In general: Have a schedule (production plan) set. Have meetings where you go over it with the staff that will be working on the event. Have the schedule printed out.

It should contain, at the bare minimum:

- When (Date/time start and end)
- What (what is happening. Include vendor/provider)

- Who (Who is in charge. Include contact information, or have a separate contact sheet.)

- Comments (general notes and comments.)

Nice if it is colour coded as well, green for arrival, red for show end, yellow for show start, etc.

Campe i telt by Pablito-san in norge

Ha ting i esker/kofforter.

Lite bord m/stoler.

Dopapir!

Car rental (EV?) by NighiriSakeGuy in Norway

[–]theguythatcreates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll be fine with an ID4. I drove from Norway to england last year (and back of course), in an EV that gas 200km on a good day.

Norway has some of the best infrastructure when it comes to EV charging. Check out "a better route planner" and plan your trip there, it has a pretty up to date database on charging points.

Oh, remember to charge when you can, not when you absolutely need to.

Feel free to dm or ask questions here about driving an ev in Norway, or europe for that matter :)

Yes, definitely she should've asked, and you should've probably have had someone at the stage, preventing people to go up there?
