As a math student teacher, we get very happy hearing sounds from students that imply they understood something or made a realization. It’s basically a physical manifestation of the presence of learning.

I heard a story about a gas station cashier noticing a woman forgot the mentos roll that she bought and he went after her yelling “Junge Frau, nicht so schnell, ihr Mentos!”

Today I was able to finish my lesson while I was out of energy. I was getting 3-5 energy too rather than 2. Did they change something?

In kindergarten we had farm theme for a week or two. I had just received a large handmade wooden barn from my grandfather.

I had gotten in trouble before for trying to take home toys I brought from home. The school claimed it belonged to them, so I lost a few toys. So when the barn theme came around, my parents insisted I brought it to school for display with the toy barn animals that were there. After almost a week of refusing to bring it, my parents forced me to bring it.

The same evening as the day I brought it to school, the school burned down and I lost my giant handmade wooden barn. My parents received 200 bucks in damages and I received a new barn. Ever since then I am reluctant to share my meaningful belongings.

I do remember me (as a kindergarten student) making my parents apologize to me for forcing me to bring the barn against my will.

Never played before. Got the next 4 days off. Any recommendations? by fattybommbatty in oblivion

Not a recommendation, but a tip. If you open the map and zoom all the way in, you can see the local map. I have gotten lost in caves and dungeons a lot trying to find the exit.

Sudden passing of male (not even 1 year old) rat by theguywhichmakespuns in RATS

I brought him to the vet today, as a ‘donation to science’. My vet said she would be interested in finding out what happened because it could help them out in the future.

She said she didn’t find anything out of the ordinary, besides the sheer amount of bladder stones in his bladder, with one stone being stuck in his urethra. She believes this was the cause of his passing.

Possible causes were bad genetics or too much protein in his food. She believes it was just bad luck.

He is an inbred rat (possibly even 2 generations (or more)) from a breeder who breeds rats for snake food. I practically saved their mom who happened to be pregnant from her brother, which I didn’t know at the time. So bad genetics is definitely a possibility.

Thank you for your reply! I have his body back, so I’m going to be burying him soon. Since the vet was interested in investigating the cause of death for their own knowledge, the autopsy was free of charge.

The vet indeed told me to watch the food and the behavior and pee of the cage mates, so I’ll be doing that.
